"Oh my God Adeline are you okay? I came as fast as I could the moment I heard." Noah exclaimed rushing up and hugging Adeline who immediately hugged him back snuggling into his chest.
The two were split by a throat being cleared as the teenagers turned around they were met with the Avengers folding their arms minus Wanda and Clint who were smiling brightly at the two.
"Adeline who is this?" Steve asked staring down the blonde haired boy who stood next to Adeline. "Urm guys this is Noah my best friend. Noah this is Steve, Tony, Loki, Thor, Bruce, Natasha, Clint, Wanda, Pietro and of course you know Peter." Adeline introduced them to each other.
"Ahhh Addy it's the Avengers." Noah fanboyed pointing to them trying to be discreet but failed miserably. "Yes Noah the Avengers." Adeline said slowly, laughing at him.
She stopped laughing as Noah turned serious and asked "Ads what happened?". She sighed nervously and ran her hand through her hair "It's nothing I just fainted at dance but I'm fine. One hundred percent fine."
"Adeline..." Noah said sternly not buying her lie "Why did you faint?" .
"Ha that's a funny story actually. You see the thing is I was just practicing my duet with Josh and I felt a tad dizzy but-" Adeline was cut off as Noah distastefully spat "Josh Jeon?" "Yes Josh Jeon. Anyway I was just going over my solo and I fainted. I'm sorry."
Noah sighed "You don't have to be sorry pumpkin. It's not your fault but I thought we agreed if you were feeling that way again you would tell me huh?"
"Yeah I know I forgot but I will next time. I promise." Adeline said lifting up her pinky. Noah laughed linking their pinky's as both of them kissed them. It was their special promise keeping handshake between the whole gang.
While all this was happening the Avengers watched with fond smiles at the interaction between Adeline and this boy. They were all glad she had someone she could trust and rely on when they couldn't be there for her.
"Wait if your here then where's-" Adeline was cut off as Alex and Riele burst through the door jumping on the young girl, who groaned at the impact.
Loki went on alert immediately at the two teenagers jumping on Adeline holding his hand up and creating a ball of ice ready to attack them for hurting his Addy. Seeing this Adeline reacted quickly shouting, "Woah Loki it's okay. They're my friends."
Turning back to the group Adeline introduced the two teenagers, "Everyone this is Alex," she said pointing at the blue eyed boy "and this is Riele." she finished pointing at the curly haired girl.
After all the introductions finished Riele did not hesitate to smack Adeline. Hard. "ADELINE MAY PARKER DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW WORRIED WE WERE? IF YOU EVEN THINK ABOUT DOING THIS AGAIN BE ABLE TO DANCE AGAIN WILL BE THE LEAST OF YOUR WORRIES!"
"Ahh I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I promise!" Adeline shouted trying to get away from Riele's hits "Noah, Alex help me!"
Both of the boys laughed shaking their heads "And suffer from one of Riele's smacks ourselves? Not a chance." Alex answered.
"Not that I don't want you here but how did you know I had fainted?" Adeline questioned her three friends.
"Peter rang me, so then I rang Riele, who then rang Alex and we all came as fast as we could." Noah answered recalling the moment he received that phone call from Peter. He had never been so scared in his entire life. The moment Peter hang up Noah was out of the door and running to the Avengers tower. Never in his life did he want to experience that again so he was determined to help with whatever she needed.
A couple hours later Alex and Riele had to leave claiming they 'had to help there parents' so it just left Adeline and Noah alone in the tower.
"What do you think would happen if you kept sailing to the edge of the world?" Adeline asked looking over at Noah.
He smiled and said "Nothing you'll just go around in a circle." Adeline nodded before going back to her book and Noah took this time to observe her. She had the brightest blue eyes that shined when she was happy and long wavy chocolate brown hair. Her lips were plump and when she smiled Adeline lit up the room. She had the kindest most generous heart and had the ability to make anyone smile no matter how sad they were. Adeline Parker was the most beautiful girl in Noah's eyes and nothing she did could change that.
"Addy." Noah called making the young girl look up from her book. "Yes?"
Noah made eye contact with her and just stared at her. Adeline laughed nervously covering her face feeling self conscious all of a sudden when two hands reached out and stopped her from doing so.
"Don't cover your face. It's beautiful." Noah said sternly.
Noticing how close their faces were Noah smiled slightly and leaned in closer and just as he was about to connect their lips- WAH WAH WAH a loud siren went off alarming both Adeline and Noah who jumped away from each other.
Suddenly Loki, Peter, Tony and Steve burst through the door and sighed in relief when they saw the two had jumped away from each other.
"Can we help you?" Adeline asked them raising her eyebrow trying to hide the disappointment in her chest for them stopping her kiss with Noah.
"Us? Oh no we were just looking for a book- ah here it is." Tony said lifting up a random book titled 'My First Kiss'.
"Mmhmmh"
"Anyway Adeline I better get going before mom wonders where I am. I'll see you tomorrow a school okay" Noah said standing up. "Yeah okay I'll show you out." Adeline said walking out of the door with Noah in tow.
Noah walked past the four men- well three men and one boy ignoring their death stares and followed Addy out the door.
When they reached the elevator Noah stepped forward and gave Adeline a kiss on her forehead and stepped into the lift. "Be careful. Don't do anything stupid without me." he said before the doors shut.
