"What was what? You interrupting my kiss with Noah?" Adeline said irritation lacing her voice.
Adeline didn't say first kiss because it wasn't. Adeline's first kiss was surprisingly with Alex in the fifth grade. Back then those two 'liked' each other and it was really awkward, neither of them could have proper conversations and they could barely utter two words with breaking down. Everyone in the gang including Josh at this time hated it. Riele absolutely despised the relationship, if you could even call it that. Noah hated it even more then Riele. But nobody hated it more then Josh did. Riele secretly believes he left their gang because of it. But soon both Adeline and Alex realised that it wasn't working and that they loved each other more like a brother and sister do, so they called it off and it's never spoken about.
"Adeline you're too young to be kissing boys." Peter said, "And didn't we said that you can't date until you're 35?" Tony butted in.
"Well that's stupid so I'm not going to listen to that." Adeline rolled her eyes and walked into the kitchen to get something to drink.
However upon entering Adeline spotted something or someone who made her scream so loud the whole tower could hear. The Avengers rushed into the kitchen on high alert ready to save Addy but what they saw when entering shocked them so much.
Adeline was screaming very loudly and Bucky- who was trying to get some milk seemed to be trying to scream louder than her. They scene was so amusing that Tony couldn't stop laughing, at Adeline until Bucky picked up a kitchen knife and headed towards her. "Oh shit."
"Woah Bucky stop." Steve exclaimed rushing forward and grabbing him along with Peter and Clint. Loki in defence rushed in front of Adeline protectively and made magic appear in his hands ready to fight Bucky. "Control your dog Rogers." Loki sneered still in-front of Adeline.
"It wasn't his fault Adeline startled him." Steve retaliated. "Oh so you're blaming Adeline for him trying to kill her." Loki accused. "What no!"
"ENOUGH!" Natasha suddenly screamed "You're all acting like children. Loki calm down Adeline's not hurt. Bucky you can't just try to attack people like that. Especially children." she said sternly as if a mother was scolding her children.
"Now Bucky, this is Adeline Peter's little sister. Adeline this is Bucky my best friend. He just came here last month." Steve introduced the two. Bucky, who was completely unaffected by the scene a few moments ago waved whereas Adeline just stared at him weirdly in return. What kind of psycho tries to stab someone with a knife? Adeline thought. Adeline took the time to study his appearance before he moved away- tall, dark hair and eyes and a metal arm. Strange but who was she to judge?
"Okay if everyone could please come and sit in the lounge Peter has an announcement to make." Tony said ushering the team to sit down.
"Right where do I start? So Adeline we- I have something to tell you. And before I do I just want to say sorry for not telling you sooner I-" Peter ran his hands through his hair "I was but I couldn't find the right moment then we weren't talking and-"
His rambling was cut short by Adeline interrupting him, "Peter calm down and just tell me." she said rolling her eyes not expecting it to be anything important. Maybe that he was gay? But she always had a sneaky suspicion that him and Ned had a little something going on not that she cared. Oh but little did she know that the next words would change her life forever.
"I'm Spider-Man."

What the hell. How. Why. What the- Adeline just didn't understand. Of course she acted like she was completely fine knowing that her brother would go out and fight bad guys and that all of the avengers knew and didn't tell her, when she wasn't really but she had just gotten them back after months and not that she would admit it but she missed them a lot. So like always she sucked it up and pretended everything was fine. Sighing she rubbed her head trying to get rid of her headache from falling.
"Hey kiddo." Bruce called from behind her walking to stand next to her. After hearing the news of her brother being a vigilante Adeline calmly smiled, stood up and claimed she needed to go to the bathroom when actually she was going up to the balcony to get away from everyone and to think and also let out a tiny scream of anger and frustration. Obviously Peter wanted to go after her but Tony stopped him saying she just needed time to process it.
"Oh hey Bruce what are you doing up here?" Adeline questioned looking at him.
"Well I came to talk to you. Don't think I've forgotten what happened earlier. There was another reason you fainted that I didn't tell everyone for your benefit and I think you know what I'm talking about."
"Urm nope I have no clue." Adeline said.
"You haven't eaten in 3 days. Add that and 8 hours of exercise, of course you're going to have problems. I'm not going to stand here and shout at you and scold you I just want you to know that we are all here for you. And if you need help and don't want everyone to know you can always ask me." Bruce explained gently putting his hand on her shoulder.
What Adeline did next shocked Bruce and herself. She rushed forward and hugged him firmly as if he was her lifeline. He tensed then relaxed holding on to Adeline just as tightly.
"Just promise me one thing okay? The minute you feel like this again just please ring me and talk to Peter heck even ring Noah. Just don't be alone." Bruce said holding Adeline by her shoulders, looking into her eyes. "Everyone here loves you and would be absolutely devastated if you got hurt."
Adeline nodded holding out her pinky "I promise." Bruce laughed as wrapped his pinky around hers. They stood outside for quite a while just talking about random things and staring at the view of New York until Steve called them inside for dinner.
