"NEXT UP WE HAVE ACT NUMBER 86 WITH 'TWILIGHT'!"
Walking onto the stage in time with the music Adeline felt confident. The Avengers definitely gave her a confidence boost when they wished her good luck which she was glad about.
Adeline danced her heart out knowing that her family were there to cheer her on.
The dance was personally one of her favourite group dances so far. It was about a vampire who had taken control of three girls and they loved him not knowing about the the destruction he caused. It was a great dance all in all.
As she finished her teammates and her got a huge round of applause from the audience. Adeline smiled slightly before walking off stage still in character.
It was time for awards next so Adeline quickly went into her changing room to put on her dance jacket and change her shoes. "Come on Ads we don't want to miss us winning." Josh said running up to her, grabbing her wrist to pull her along with him.
"Is everyone ready for some awards?" the spokesperson shouted into the microphone carrying on once she received numerous 'YES's from the kids and even some moms.
"Alrighty we're gonna be starting off with with our Elite Teen Duo/Trio award!" as they read out the 10th to 3rd place winners Adeline and Josh were getting slightly more nervous as was the Avengers. They wanted their baby to win- and she deserved it. "In second place we have act number 18 Louise and Jack with 'Scary Sweetheart'! And in first place with a perfect score, drumroll please-" Adeline and Josh gripped each other's hand nervously "Act number 29 Josh and Adeline with 'I Still Need You'!" The two teenagers leaped up in happiness quickly hugging each other before collecting their trophy. Adeline could see Tony standing up jumping up and down pointing at them faintly screaming 'I KNEW THEY WOULD WIN' making Adeline blush in embarrassment as Steve tried to pull him to sit down again.
After a few more awards it was Adeline's category again, "Now for the elite teen solos." the spokesperson said reading out the tenth the fourth 47 place winners. "In third place we have act number Georgia with 'In My Heart'!" they said causing cheers from the crowd, it was getting closer to first place and Adeline was getting more and more nervous gripping Kayleigh and Josh's hands tightly. "In second place we have act number 53 Adeline with 'Never enough'!"
Adeline stood up slightly disappointed but still grateful for placing so high up. She knew Peter would be proud but she knew Miss.Emilia wouldn't be happy about it. To her anything other than first place is a loss. But nevertheless she had to suck it up and put on a fake smile.
Finally it was group dances awards and Adeline could not wait to get off this stage and back in her bed.
"In third place we have act number 74 'Dance Dance'! In second place we have act number 82 'Party Time'! And finally what you've all been waiting for- drumroll please. In first place we have ACT NUMBER 86 'TWILIGHT'!" Adeline, Josh, Kayleigh and Lilia (the other dancer in the group dance) all sprang up hugging each other before collecting their award.
The four dancers walked into their changing room happy yet anxious for Adeline. "Well congratulations on first place for the group dance and the duet." Miss.Emilia congratulated the teenagers. "However Adeline what was that? Second place? You should know by now that second is the first to loose, I expected better than that." at her words Adeline's eyes teared up slightly disappointed in herself. "Oh no no no. I will have no tears, no crying babies. Save your tears for your pillow."
Miss.Emilia left after her brutal congratulations and the four dancers were left on their own. "Don't worry Ads you did amazing. It's just that that other girls dance was just a bit better. You were only separated by half a point."
"Yeh thank you guys but don't worry I'm used to it. Let be honest Miss.Emilia is never happy with anything we do if we're not first." Adeline said shrugging her shoulders in a 'what can you do' way.
Adeline sat down at her dressing table, took off her makeup and put her hair in a loose ponytail. "Okay guys I'll see you tomorrow at practice love you." Adeline said grabbing her two bags and making her way towards the door getting a chorus of 'Bye love you.' 's back.
"There's our superstar." Tony said as Adeline made her way towards the group. She received a string of hugs and congratulations as she greeted the Avengers extended. "Adeline we're so proud of you." Steve said grabbing her bags off her to carry them getting a 'Thanks' in return from Adeline.
"Guys I'll be back in one sec I've just got to say bye." Adeline said as spotted Noah, Riele and Alex standing near. "SQUAD!" she shouting running off to them and jumping into their arms. "ADDY CONGRATULATIONS YOU DID AMAZING." they all exclaimed together kissing her face in various places. Adeline giggled trying to push all their faces off her. "Thank you guys." she said once they had all stop assaulting her with kisses although she was still in Riele's arms.
"I loved your solo so much, it was amazing." Noah said shyly. "Thank you." she thanked looking at him and blushing. Adeline and Noah were staring each other in the eyes distracted when suddenly Riele exclaimed "Oh look there's Josh come on Alex let's go congratulate him." dragging Alex off by the wrist leaving Adeline and Noah alone.
"I mean it Ads you did really well today." the young teenager said. Adeline smiled leaning over to kiss his cheek "Thanks I've got to go but I'll see you tomorrow okay? Bye!" Adeline rushed out embarrassed quickly running back to the Avengers who welcomed her with teasing looks and pokes.
"Awww Ads you and that boy are so sweet." Wanda said cooing slightly making Adeline blush even more if that was even possible. "Yeah as sweet as a pie." Tony said sarcastically.
Loki rolled his eyes "Come on Addy let's go we're going to go back to the tower watch films and order food to celebrate." going over to the girl draping his arm round her shoulder.
"By the way you were definitely the best today." Loki whispered gently in her ear, getting a soft "Thank you Lo." in return.

I just wanna apologise for not updating I've just been really stressed and busy lately and honestly I didn't have any motivation to write this next chapter but it's fine now.
