Chapter 9

(Nash pov)

"Wait I thought Brittany was coming later on this week?" Cameron said

That's when I had a plan.

"Cam, can you do me a huge favor?" I ask him

"It depends, what is it?" he asked

I explained the plan to the guys and they all agreed.

We hear a knock at the door and Jacob goes to open the door. When the door opens Bart is standing in the doorway.

"Shit!" I say to myself

"What happened in here?" He asked. By the look on his face he wasn't too happy. "It looks like a tornado came through here and tore this place apart."

At least he didn't see the huge hole on the wall.

"Sorry I'll clean it up" I say to him and pick up some of the things I threw on the floor.

"WHAT THE HELL NASH?" he said staring at the wall

I guess I spoke to soon.

"I got angry. I'm sorry, i'll pay for the damages" I said sitting on my bed

With that he walked out the room and the guys started laughing.

"Shut up and help me clean"

We all picked up the trash that I've thrown on the floor.

"Is this my shirt?" Taylor says picking up a shirt off the floor

"Probably, You can't lend Hayes clothes he won't return them"

"I think it is your shirt" Hayes said patting Taylor on the back and giving him a small smile

Soon enough the room was clean. We all sat in various positions around the room. We were on our phones. It was still pretty early.

"Hey lets go to the pool" Taylor said

We all agreed and they left to go changed. Hayes knocked on the door connecting to Matt's room. Matt opened the door and Hayes asked if they wanted to go to the pool. Matt agreed and Alex didn't really reply.

After the door closed Hayes walked over to his suitcase and pulled out a pair of swimming trunks. He went into the bathroom and changed. He walked out the bathroom and I was on my phone.

"Is Alex coming?" I ask hoping she was

"I don't think so, She was sleeping" Hayes said looking around for something

"Oh"

I grab my swim trunks and quickly go into the bathroom to change.

(Matt pov)

Alex was asleep and I was on my phone going through twitter. I heard a knock on the door that connected our rooms. I get out of my bed and open the door. I see Hayes standing there.

"What's up?" I ask him

"We are all going to the pool, do you want to come?"

"Sure" I say looking back at Alex

I walk back over to my bed and grab my phone. I turn on the flashlight and go through my luggage looking for my swim trunks.

"You know you can turn the light on" she says to me getting out of bed and walking over to the light switch

"I thought you were sleep and I didn't want to wake you"

"I was asleep but I woke up like ten minutes ago"

"Oh okay, We are all going to the pool do you want to come?"

"Is Nash going to be there?" She asked looking over at me

"I don't know, maybe?"

"Then no" She said climbing back into bed

(Alex pov)

I didn't want to go to the pool knowing Nash would be there. I thought he had real feelings for me but it turns out he already has a girlfriend. I don't want to be the one who ruins their relationship so it's best for me to stay away.

I thought I felt a connection between the two us when we kissed. Just then I get a text from somebody. I turn my phone on and check the lock screen. I saw it was a message from Nash.

Nash: I'm so sorry, I will make this up to you I promise :'(

I didn't bother responding. I just went on Instagram and saw that somebody tagged me in a picture. I check to see who it was and of course it was Nash. He posted a picture of our kiss from earlier. He only posted the picture ten minutes ago with the caption 'Alex I'm sorry I never meant to hurt you.'

I started to form tears in my eyes. I wiped them away and told myself to be strong. I decided to go on YouTube and watch One Direction videos.

"I'm going down to the pool now, call me if you need anything" He said grabbing his phone and room key.

"Okay bye" He grabbed a hotel towel and walked out the room.

After he left Nash walked into the room.

"Alex?"

"Now what?" I said turning on the TV.

"Can you please listen to me?" he said standing in front of the TV.

"Move!" I said and he did as I said.

Nash grabbed the remote and turned the TV off.

"Hey, what was that for!" I said trying not to yell

"I'm sorry, I really am" He said looking at me like he was about to cry

"You apologized a thousand times, I don't want to hear it" I said rolling my eyes at him.

"I'm sorry I never meant to hurt you" He said walking out the room.

I was trying so hard to hold back the tears but they ended up slipping out.

"No your stronger than this" I said to myself wiping my tears away.

I grabbed a piece of paper and wrote a note to Matt telling him where I was going.

I grabbed one of his sweatshirts and put it on. I walked down the hall and got on to the elevator. I walked out the building and started walking to some unknown location.
