Chapter 17

(Alex pov)

Matt walks into the room and hugs me.

That was unexpected. We haven't seen eye to eye this entire trip.

"What was that for?" I asked him

"Be safe"

"I will"

And with that there was a knock on the door. We open the door and we see Nash and Hayes. Nash was wearing Khaki's, a black shirt and red vans. Hayes was wearing jeans, a black shirt that said 'Reckless' on it and black vans.

"Are you guys ready?" Nash asked us

"Yeah" I look back at Matt and see the look on his face "Hold on just a second" I say and walk over to Matt.

I pull him into a reassuring hug to tell him everything will be okay. He gives me a small smile and I walk back over to Nash. As we walk out the door I wave goodbye to him with my open hand and he waves back.

I'm surprised that Matt is taking this pretty well.

"Please tell us where we are going" Azucena begs Nash and Hayes to tell us.

"Its a surprise" Hayes said to her and gave her a peck on the cheek

"Ugh"

"We are going to walk, Is that okay with you?" Nash said looking at both of us to see if it was okay.

"Yeah" Me and Azucena said at the same time

We walk down the street and we stopped in front of an Italian restaurant. It looked a little fancy.

"Hello, how may I help you?" The young lady said. You can tell she was trying to flirt with Nash but she wasn't very good at it.

"We have reservations for Grier"

"Right this way" She said and guided us to our table placing a menu in front of each of us. She glared at me before she left. I rolled my eyes and looked through the menu. The Fettuccine Alfredo looks really good but its enough to feed a whole family.

"Nash, do you want to share a Fettuccine Alfredo?" I ask turning to look at Nash.

"I was going to ask you the same"

I gave him a small smile and I began to blush. I tried not to but it just happened. Just then the waiter came and introduced himself.

"Hi my name is Mario how may I start you off with some drinks?"

We all ordered our drinks and the waiter came back shortly after with our drinks.

We ordered our food and waited for the waiter to come back with our food.

We talked for the rest of the time. Unfortunately Mario's shift was over and we were stuck with the waitress that had seated us. She brought out our food and Nash asked her for an extra plate. She brought back the plate and Nash started to put some of the Alfredo on his plate.

We eventually finished our food and The waitress brought us the bill. I opened it and checked the price. It wasn't that bad. Then I noticed that there was a number at the bottom of the bill. I gave the money for our meal to Nash but he refused it. Nash and Hayes wanted to pay for the bill.

Nash noticed the phone number at the bottom of the bill. He ripped the number off the bill and then ripped the number up. I gave him a smile and he did the same. We payed the bill and left the restaurant.

We walked a few more blocks and we saw a carnival so we went. We went on a few rides and played a few games. Nash won me a teddy bear Hayes won Azucena a monkey. After a while we had gotten bored so we went to the park.

We sat at the bench in front of the pond. It was my favorite spot in the park. I rested my head on Nash's shoulder and Nash wrapped his arm around me. Hayes and Azucena took a walk around the pond a few times.

Me and Nash stayed in comforting silence and admired the sunset. Hayes and Azucena walked back over to us.

"Do you guys want to go to the movies?" Hayes asked

"Sure, what movie?" I asked

"I was thinking the fault in our stars"

"Are you trying to make us cry?" Azucena asked Hayes

"Fine, How about Tammy?"

"Sure, I heard it's really funny" Nash said and we got up from the park bench

Since we didn't know how far the theater was so we called a taxi. We arrived at the theater and brought our tickets. Nash and Hayes brought our tickets so we beat them to the popcorn and soda. We weren't really hungry since we just ate but who doesn't buy popcorn and soda when they go to the movies. Me and Azucena ordered two small popcorns. Me and Nash was going to share a soda I don't know about Azucena and Hayes.

We went into the movie and sat down. We waited for the previews to end and the movie started. Nash wrapped his arm around me and I rested my head on his shoulder. We finished watching the movie and left the theater. The movie was funny. While we waited for the taxi and went to the mini arcade that they had.

In the taxi I sat on Nash's lap because nobody wanted to sit up front with the driver. Nobody really minded. Azucena was sitting on Hayes lap. We arrived at the hotel and went back to our rooms. Hayes took Azucena back to her room.

"I really enjoyed tonight" I said looking into his beautiful blue eyes

"So did I" He said towering over me.

He leaned in for a kiss and I did the same. Before I knew it his soft lips crashed onto mine. Our lips moved in sync. He grabbed my waist and picked me up. I wrapped my legs around his waist without breaking the kiss. I felt fireworks going off when we kissed. At this point it was like nothing mattered anymore. During the kiss I heard a picture being taken but we still didn't break the kiss kiss.

The door opened and we heard someone clear their throat. We broke the kiss knowing it was Matt.

"Bye Nash I had a great time" I said giving him a peck on the cheek

"See you tomorrow"

And with that we went into our rooms. Before I went inside I took a quick picture of Azucena and Hayes making out.

"How was the date?" Matt asked

"Really good"

"That's good"

I finished packing my things into my suitcase and sat on my bed. My phone was blowing up with twitter notifications. Somebody posted the picture if me and Nash making out in the hallway. Of course there was hate but there was also a few positive people.

"Hey Matt, I'm going over to Nash's side"

"Don't do anything you might regret"

With that I walked over to Nash's side.
