Chapter 8

(Alex pov)

We walked home hand in hand. I decided to check my phone since I left in on silent for tonight. I check to see that I had fifteen un-read messages from Matt.

I opened the messages and they were all asking where I was. I texted him back telling him I was on my way to the hotel. I put my phone away and joined hands with Nash again.

Me and Nash took a slow walk back to the hotel. We enjoyed each others company. A few minutes later we arrived at the hotel. We walked into the lobby and pressed the elevator. We stood there and looked each other in the eyes while we waited. The elevator door opened and we broke the eye contact.

We walked in the elevator and pressed our floor. On the way going up Nash looked me in the eyes and leaned in for a kiss. I leaned in and he crashed his lips against mine. The elevator door opened and we broke the kiss. I turn around to see Matt, he was beyond mad. He grabbed my wrist and dragged me to the hotel room. Nash stepped out the elevator when he knew it was a safe distance.

Nash waved goodbye and I attempted to wave back but I was pulled into the hotel room.

"Matt what is your problem?" I asked him sitting down on my bed

"Why cant you just listen to me for once?" He said screaming at me

"Your not my dad, your my brother I don't have to listen to you!" I said yelling back at him

"NASH HAS A GIRLFRIEND!" he yelled at me.

My mouth dropped open in disbelief.

(Matt pov)

"NASH HAS A GIRLFRIEND!" I yelled at her

I did not mean for it to come out that way. I was trying not to let her fall for him but it happened anyways. By the look on her face she was shocked. She was trying so hard to hold back the tears.

"Alex I'm sorry, I never meant for it to come out that way" I said calmly and sat down on the bed next to her.

I pulled her into a hug and she started to cry.

"Why would he do this to me?" she said with tears falling from her eyes

"He's a jerk" I said to her pulling her in for another hug. 

She stood up and walked into the bathroom.

(Alex pov)

I stood up and walked into the bathroom. I got my makeup remover and cleared my face of all makeup. I walked out the bathroom and grab a pair of baggy sweatpants and a loose t-shirt. I walk back into the bathroom and quickly change. I threw my hair up into a messy bun. I stayed in the bathroom for a while longer looking at myself in the mirror.

"Why would he do this to me" I say to myself. "I really thought he liked me. How can I be so stupid?" A few more tears fell from my face and I quickly wiped them away. I walk out the bathroom and I sit in my bed. Matt was still sitting on my bed. You can tell he was thinking, but about what.

I tried to jump on Matt but he saw it coming. He caught me in midair and threw me on the bed. He began to tickle me and he defiantly lightened my mood.

"Okay... Okay... I'm sorry" I said in between laughs

He stopped tickling and he got off my bed. I stood up and walked to the door that connected our room to Nash's room.

"Are you sure that's a good idea?" Matt asked me

"Yes I know what I'm doing"

I opened the door and saw Nash and Hayes on their phones. Nash looked up from his phone and noticed me standing by the door.
