Running Into Noah

RIN/Chapter 5

When we stood there like we were frozen in time I smiled at Noah who looked so different. I can't just stand here and look at him anymore, I need to hug him to know its real.

I took a deep breath before running up to him and hugging him tightly.

Noah instantly hugged me back and he held on so tightly. My heart was beating so fast and loud I'm not even sure I was able to tell if Noah's was too but I'm sure he felt the same way hugging me as I did hugging him.

I smiled happily as the warmth from his hug instantly brought me back to the old days.

I missed Noah so much...

"Hey, Eugene." I said, using the middle name Noah hated so much.

Noah still held me close as his body shakes while he laughed at me. "Hey nose picker." He jokingly said and I laughed too.

I can feel Noah's muscles and it made my body feel all weird and tingly inside.

But Noah, or myself, were going to let go of this hug anytime soon.

"I've missed you." I whispered as I took in his smell, and like in my dream he smelt fresh but not like the ocean.

"I've missed you, too." Noah whispered as he pulled away but only a little bit to see my face. Noah smiled, "You haven't changed much either." He said and I smiled at him.

That's true, I haven't changed but I did get taller.

"You kind of did." I said with a small smile. In a good way, a very very good way.

When Noah licked his lips and just looked me in the eyes my knees felt weak. I didn't know what to look at, his eyes or his lips. Either or would send me off to lala land.

"Noah-" I said but got cut off by Mike.

Instantly me and Noah let go of each other as Mike smirks at us, "Oh, no." Mike said. "Don't stop just because I'm here." He winked at us and I cleared my throat.

"I'm gonna finish washing the dishes." I said as I rushed away to the kitchen.

Noah's P.O.V

She looked so beautiful, I couldn't take my eyes off her. She just- she looked perfect. And when she smiled at me, god. It was just so adorable.

Dani ran up to me and almost tackled me when she hugged me. I instantly hugged her back and I loved the way she fit so perfectly in my arms.

I missed her, so much.

My heart was beating so fast but I can also feel how fast Dani heart is beating that I didn't care.

"Hey Eugene." Dani said, her voice was soft and playful.

I couldn't hold it in and my body shakes from how much I laughed. I haven't laughed like this in a while.

"Hey nose picker." I jokingly said and Dani laughed with me.

We stopped laughing but we still held each other like our lives depended on it.

"I've missed you." Dani whispers.

"I've missed you, too." I whispered as I pulled away a little bit but only to have a good look at her face. I smiled at her, "You haven't changed much either." I said. And she hasn't, she just got taller.

"You kind of did." She said and in her eyes I can tell she was thinking of something but not saying it.

She was so beautiful...

I didn't even know I licked my lips until I saw Danis eyes shoot down to my lips quickly. She loved when I did that, I always knew it.

She kept looking back to my eyes and my lips and when ever I could I would take a quick glance at her pink full lips that I haven't kissed in what seemed like forever.

I missed those lips.

"Noah-" Dani was saying until another voice chimed in, making me and Dani let go of each other right away.

"Oh, no." Mike said as he smirked at me and Dani. "Don't stop just because I'm here." He said in a joking matter.

Dani cleared her throat and pointed to the kitchen door, "I'm going to finish washing the dishes." She said and in matter of seconds she was gone.

"Dude." I said to Mike as he walked over to me and looked all serious.

"Don't dude me, she still in a relationship." Mike whispered as he looked at the kitchen door.

She's still in a relationship, please don't tell me it's with Tom. "Tom still?" I asked and Mike nodded his head. "Then why'd she come here for Christmas?" I ask Mike and he smirks at me again.

"Because I'm a good friend." He says and I was first confused until I got it.

I smiled over to him and patted his back, "This is why we're best friends." I said to Mike and he nodded his head.

Now how will all of this work?
