When I woke up the next day I quickly looked out the window and frowned. The snow was high, how long will it take to get this done?

After using the bathroom and taking a warm shower I went to the living room to see Noah talking to someone on the little phone that was connected to the wall.

"What do you mean after Christmas?" He said as he rubbed his temple. "That won't work..."

I walked to the front window and just looked at the sky, the sun was back but I don't know how long it will take to melt most the snow away.

"Sorry I had business to do up here it's not like I knew there would be a storm." Noah argued in the phone and he took a deep breath, "Look can you or can you not get someone up here before Christmas?" He asked whoever and when he got his answer he kicked the wall. "Yeah, thanks." He said as he hung up. He ran his fingers through his hair and looked over to me and frowned, "Dani I'm sorry." He apologized and I looked at him in confusion.

"What's going on?" I ask as I walk over to him. "Are we stuck until after Christmas?" I asked him and he nodded his head and frowned at me.

"Yeah, the guys has no one to come here because he doesn't want to ruin someone Christmas by making them work." Noah said as he took a seat at the little wooden table. "I probably ruined Christmas for you and it hasn't even started.."

I smacked Noah's hand and he glared at me, "You didn't ruin anything." I said as I sat next to him and smiled, "All we need to do is decorate and set up a tree and we don't need presents just yet since they're all at home- it's all fine we can make it work."

Noah smiled at me and grabbed my hand. "You're so optimistic I love it."

I gave him a big smile, "I know." I said as I rolled my eyes and got up to the phone. "I'm going to call your parents and let them know."

"Alright I'll be in the shower." Noah said as he made his way to the bathroom.

I quickly called Tori's house phone and she answer after the first ring.

"Oh you guys are okay, thank god!" She said as she tried to control her breathing.

"Yeah, just a snow storm. Nothing too bad-"

"Nothing too bad?" She asked and almost laughed. "I packed on a weeks of food in there I should of packed a months..." I couldn't help but laugh at that and I can tell Tori was glaring, "You laugh now but Noah can eat like a 900 pound man with a gift card to McDonalds..."

"I know." I said, it's true Noah can eat more food in one day then I could in a year. "But I'll make sure we have some left over-"

"Don't starve yourselves!" She shout and I shook my head even though she couldn't see me.

"No, we won't!" I reassured her. "We will eat but the longest we'll be is five days no longer." I said and she said okay. "Well I have to go now, it's getting chilly and I'm gonna start the fire-"

"Be careful." She said and I smiled.

"I will, if we don't get to talk in four days or so I just want to say Marry Christmas."

"You too, Dani." She said and before I can answer she spoke up again, "And let Noah know that I said Merry Christmas too."

"I will." I said. We said out goodbyes but Tori was extending hers but eventually she said bye and hung up.

By the time I was off the phone Noah was out the shower and walking around shirtless.

Is he crazy? It's freezing!

I grabbed some wood from the pile and set it up in the fireplace before lighting a match and starting the fire. The warmth of the flames instantly filled the cottage.

We decided to eat some food and I made sure we had some left over. After we ate Noah cheered from the mini fridge.

"What?" I asked as I turned around from the couch and watched as Noah grabbed something out of the fridge.

"We're set for tonight." He said as he turned around with two bottles of cold beer.

I smiled.

Perfect.
