Running Into Noah

Running Into Noah was something like a dream...

I got back to the apartment and found a stack of mail on the end table next to the door. I quickly looked through it and smiled to see a letter from Mike. He was supposed to be coming back home in a couple months. It's been four years- four long years.

I basically ripped open the letter as I walked to my kitchens small dinning table. I imagined Mikes voice as I read the letter with his messy hand writing-

Dani,

Okay, since I will be home before Christmas I want us to go back to our town. Your mom sent me a letter one day and suggested the idea and she wants you to come too. She says she hasn't spoken to you in a long time and I'm shocked- it's your mom, Dani, don't ignore her.

Anyways, I really want to visit old friends and have some good old hot chocolate from Tori's, but I want you to come with me because you always said your Christmas has been boring the past four years and every time I actually visit our home town you can't come along so I don't see you much.

I miss you, Dani. I can't wait to see you and spend time with you like the old days when you decide to come back home with me for a couple weeks.

Mike.

I smiled at the letter. It's like he knows I will say yes...

I hate spending Christmas here in NYC, I want to go back home and see my mom and Bill- who got married couple years back- and I want to see Mike.

But if I go home will I run into Noah?

Noah...

I haven't heard from him or anyone really because after I left I never contacted anyone. I was scared they were going to be mad at me but when I called my mom a couple months after that day she was happy to hear from me and even happier that I was going to college.

I didn't really pick a career yet so I just went to college to get done with my four year classes I needed to finish for a diploma.

The door opened and I knew it was Tom so I hid the letter under my butt and just waited for him to come in the kitchen,

"Hey.." Tom said as he kissed my cheek and went right to the fridge to get some food. "I brought in the mail." He said as he sat down next to me and drunk his orange juice.

"Really?" I said as I tried to act like I didn't see the mail. Tom nods his head and smiles at me,

"Richard is setting up his cottage again-"

I rolled my eyes. "Christmas there again?" I asked and he nodded his head.

"If I want my relationship with Richard to be good then yeah- where else would we go?" Tom says and I frown and shrug my shoulders.

Home..?

"Okay." I decided not to say anything about Mikes idea because I know Tom will say no.

Tom went to shower and I quickly took a piece of paper and pencil to write Mike back-

Mike,

Sounds great! I really wanted to go home for Christmas many times but Tom always had plans for us but this year we can go back home. It will be fun just the two of us again.

I miss you too, Mike. And I can't wait to spend Christmas with you and my mom again like the old times. It will be fun!

I put the letter in an envelope and quickly ran down to the mailbox and stuffed it in there.

I guess I'm going to go home for a couple weeks.

So I know it's early to post up a coming soon since my book wont be out for a couple months but I want you all to know that I am going to post it and am working really hard on this one.

Plus I want for new readers to get the chance to read Winning Noah's Heart if they haven't already. You most likely will need to read the first book to kind of get whats going on here.

I'm really excited for this book and want to start publishing right away but I can't because I'm still working on it. I got most of it done but I am planning to have this really long and exciting.

Just letting everyone know the date of Chapter 1's publishing will be

August 22, 2014

I changed it for a chapter to fall on Christmas lol...
