JADE'S POV

2 weeks.

2 weeks of constant searching. 2 weeks of constant group meetings. 2 weeks of constant misery.

Stiles has been missing for two weeks now. We don't know why or how but we've done nothing but look. I could see the bags beginning to appear underneath my eyes. If I was anything this exact moment, sleep deprived it is. But I didn't care.

If we have to search day and night, so be it. I'll do whatever it takes to bring him back home to Lydia, to Scott.

"She didn't seem to know anything about werewolves." Alia sighed. "She figured the only thing that my mother would've put in my necklace is sage."

"Sage? Why sage?"  Stiles asked, his arms crossed over his chest.

"Apparently it was to keep the 'bad spirits' away." I shrugged and glanced between both boys. "Obviously, it wasn't only sage that she kept hidden."

Scott rubbed his chin and nodded. "She was using wolfsbane, too."

"What's the point of all of this?" Alia scoffed. "It's not like I'm trying to hurt anyone. Who cares about my father?"

Stiles glanced at Scott then back at Alia. "There's so much you still don't know."

"I'm getting tired of fucking hearing that." She stepped forward but I quickly put an arm in front of her. Alia sighed and looked back at Stiles. "Explain it to me, then."

Suddenly, a door opening caught our attention. A girl stepped out of Scott's room and I was slightly taken back. Her hair was cut to her shoulders and it had light blonde highlights, but it was overall brown. She had long, lean legs and a figure of a model. She was no doubt stunning.

"Your room is much more boring than you think." She said to Scott then looked at the two of us.

"Malia, this is Jade and Alia." Scott motioned towards us. "Jade and Alia, this is Malia... My girlfriend."

My breath hitched in my throat once my eyes met hers. I knew he had a girlfriend but it was different now that she was standing in front of me. Of course, she was beautiful. I wouldn't expect any less for someone like Scott. I gave her a friendly grin which she didn't return.

"What do you plan on doing with them?" She asked, crossing her arms over her chest. Alia mirrored her pose and scoffed.

"What do you mean?"  Scott muttered. "They already told us everything they knew. Alia is just as unaware as we are."

"And we're supposed to just believe her?" Malia narrowed her eyes at Alia.

"I don't really care what you believe." Alia sassed back. "I'm no danger to anyone. If anything, I'm trying to help."

Stiles looked between the two girls and laughed nervously. "Now that we've all met, maybe we can look for answers to the murders that have been taking place. He scratched the back of his head, obviously trying to put an end to the heated tension.

"I already made up my theory on how everything started." Malia said, her eyes never leaving Alia's. I could tell Alia was mentally arguing with herself, probably deciding on whether or not to jump her.

"Funny." Alia commented. "I knew dogs were irritating but not this annoying."

Scott sighed and slid his hand in Malia's, making my stomach churn slightly. "Guys, come on. What good will it do us if we can't get along?"
