I lift the sleeping Harry out of the car and carrying him towards our old home. I knock softly and no noise is heard from inside. I lift the pot plant beside the door on the window sill and grab out the spare key putting it into the lock. I twist the key and then twist the door handle kicking the door open. I carry Harry into the lounge room placing him down and my heart drops. My mother, surrounded by drugs, needles, alcohol and even razors. I run up the stairs carrying Harry's dan look him in my room. I run back down the stairs and let out a shaky sob. I message Corbyn to come over with or without everyone before ringing for a ambulance. "Mum please!" I sob shaking her lifeless body Minutes later the door bursts open and Corbyn, Adalyn, Jonah, Jack and Zach stand in the doorway frozen. Corbyn is the first to react lifting me off the ground and away from my mother's body. "Where is Harry?" Jack stares at my mother and I point up the stairs letting out a shaky sob "Her room first on the right, Adalyn take Zach up there with Jack" Corbyn orders while Zach starts to freak out Adalyn and Jonah drag Jack and Zach up the stairs away from the lounge room. "C-c-orbyn" I sob holding onto his shirt He holds me tighter making sure me ears and eyes were covered as the paramedics rushed in. Hysterical sobs escape my mouth and Corbyn just rocks me back and forth not sure what to say or do. The house goes silent as the paramedics disappear with my mother and then Adalyn runs down the stairs. "Har-r-y saw" she whispers her voice cracking Screams fill my ears making my stomach drop to the floor. I shove away Corbyn and Adalyn bolting up the stairs and catching Harry in my arms. "B-b-bubs it's o-okay" i whimper holding him to my chest Corbyn sinks to the ground beside me pulling us both into his arms and rocking back and forth.
