Alexis has swelling on the brain. She has been put in a induced coma until they can get the swelling under control. "How is she?" Adalyn dives through her door and I nod softly "Hasn't woken and they don't think she will" I murmur "This is all Corbyn's fault" Jonah sighs and runs a hand through his hair Zach slowly walks to Alexis' side and I see a tear roll down his cheek. "You guys don't understand do you?" He looks at us and we frown "She can have memory loss, what if she forgets us....or me?" Zach looks at her and wipes a tear off his cheek "She won't forget us" Adalyn walks to his side and he pushes her away softly "I love her, I always have!" He looks at us all and I see a different Zach He was broken, lost, confused, in...love? "Zach I know" I stand up slowly stepping towards him "No you don't! I have loved her since the day we met her. I love her so much and no one has ever thought of what it would be like for me! A 17 year old to watch the love of his life get her heart broken by every guy she starts to like. I wanted to hurt Corbyn the first time he hurt her at that after party. No one ever asked who I liked!" Zach bellows tears streaming down his cheeks "Zach" Adalyn whimpers tears filling her eyes "What if she dies!? What if I never get to tell her how I feel! None of you understand!" Zach pushes past all of us running out the door and I watch him in shock. "Why did no one realise his feelings for her? Did no one look at his phone when he was looking for girls to find. I did and I saw Alexis on the screen. All the times he was depressed was when Alexis was dating someone" Daniel looks at us and shakes his head "Why did you date her then?" Jonah growls "I only noticed after we dated" Daniel whispers "Enough! Jack, go look after Zach" Adalyn glares at us and I nod I walk out the door and exit the hospital. I find Zach on a park bench a few minutes from the hospital. He was staring at the swings with a blank look on his face. "How long?" I murmur sitting beside him "For the real feelings? A couple of months" Zach mutters and looks at his hands His knuckles were bloody and cut up but that didn't seem to bother him. "Why wouldn't you say something to me?" I look at him and he shrugs "The fear of her knowing and hating me" Zach looks at me tears building up in his eyes "I have always loved her Jack. I was just too scared to admit it to her" Zach sighs and a tear rolls down his cheek "Zach you never know until you try. Alexis has always had that connection with you no one else had. Not even with Corbyn! You would call her Pookie and she would call you bubba. No one else calls her that and I have never heard anyone call you that. If you had of said something to me I could of helped you Zach" I put my hand on his shoulder "But what if she forgets us?" Zach looks at me "Deep down she will remember us Zach, we will just have to show her the way to remember us again" I squeeze his shoulder softly and then we slowly walk back together. "What if she doesn't remember Corbyn leaving her again?" Zach looks at his phone staring at the engagement post from our Instagram page I grab his phone deleting the post. "I don't think anyone could forget him leaving her for the 5th time Zach" I put my arm around his shoulders and we walk back to the room.
