Hello. My name is Coral Gem. I am 16 years old and I live with my friend Dallas Winston, but we call him Dally. He is my family. My Mom and Dad passed away in a horrible house fire. I was able to escape. I still have nightmares about it, but lately I have been doing okay.
I am a part of a gang. If it weren't for the gang, I would be a homeless bum right now. In this gang is Darry Curtis, Sodapop Curtis, Ponyboy Curtis, Johnny Cade, Steve Randall, Two Bit Matthews, Dallas Winston, and me, Coral Gem. They are my family.
I have been in the gang since I was 13, and I was found by my best friend, Sodapop Curtis. Since he lives in a house with 2 other brothers, Dally was nice enough to let me stay with him. Let's start from the beginning...Enjoy my story!
