Ponyboy and Johnny was going through my closet to try and find an outfit for tonight. They ended up picking a really light blue/greyish color. "Why haven't you ever worn this?" Ponyboy and Johnny asked. I flopped on my bed. I was in a robe. I finished my makeup, and Dally painted my nails. I taught him, and he kinda liked it. I just shrugged my shoulders when Pony asked me his question. I put on the high waisted skirt and crop top thing. I wore blue heels. I looked at myself in the mirror. Dally was the only one with me. Pony and Johnny was going to walk to the lot and wait for me. I looked at my appearance in the mirror. Yeah, I was feeling better, but I couldn't help but look at myself and point out all the horrible flaws on my body. Dally obviously knew what I was thinking, because he put his hands around my waist. "You look beautiful." He said. I smiled. "When I took you in at 13, you were just this beautiful little girl. You've really grown up on me." Dally said. I smiled and hugged him. "Don't go soft on me Winston." I said pointing at him. He smiled. "You know that I don't really like  this guy because he is a Soc, but for you,  I will give it a chance." Dally said. I Laughed. "Gee, thanks." I said and rolled my eyes.

Dally walked me to the lot here we met Pony and Johnny. 5 minutes after staying at the lot, a black mustang pulls up. I see Eric and smile. Eric gets out, opens my door, then closes it once I say goodbye to everyone and get in the car. Eric said something that made Ponyboy and Johnny laugh. Even Dallas chuckled. I smiled, and Eric got in the car. As soon as he turned on the radio, "Can't Help Falling In Love" Came on my Elvis Presley. I smiled. Eric and I started to sing. After the song was over, Eric turned off the radio and started talking to me. "So tell me about yourself." He said glancing over at me and smiling. "Well, I am 17 now, I love the ocean, sunsets, and animals." I said. Eric smiled. "I love the color blue, I want to be in the military one day, I don't believe in the whole greaser vs Soc thing, and I love reading." Eric said. "Wow. You and I are like the same person." I said laughing. "Good, because I hardly know you, and I already like you." Eric said. I laughed.

Eric and I went to this fancy restaurant. There was dancing, singing, and of course an amazing meal. I enjoyed my time with Eric. He was amazing, and I really liked him. We talked and talked and talked. For hours. I exchanged phone numbers with Eric, and we wanted to go out together soon. Eric walked me home. I was at my doorstep when Eric said, "I had an amazing time tonight and I would love to do it again soon. Call me if you ever want to hang out again." And then, he kissed me. It was amazing. Mini fireworks were going off, and that's when I fell madly in love with Eric Richards.
