- Short Chapter !
*~JOKER~*
It had been days since the incident at the club, and there was still no word on where Alex was, nor has anybody seen her since the night she ran out of here. What have I done? What did I do? Why didn't I just kill Harley's ass and get it over with, knowing that Alex was on her way to the club? All these thoughts filled my head as I sat in the corner of my room, drinking whiskey straight from the bottle. Every time I closed my eyes, I saw the pained and angry look on her face, before she plunged that glass cup at me and stormed away. I wanted to chase after her. I should've chased after her, but for some reason...I didn't.
Because you don't love her like you think you do!
You don't even know what love is!
Harley messed up any type of love you had in that cold heart of yours, and Alex wasn't going to change that!
The voices were on a roll today and I wished that they'd just shut the fuck up and leave me the hell alone! On top of that, I found myself so wrapped up in finding out where she went off to, I didn't even realize that Harley had disappeared and not only did I not know where Alex was...I didn't know where she was either. See what being in love does to me? It makes me lose sight of what's really important, which makes me all types of confused and I don't like being confused. I don't like it at all.
The door came flying open and I pointed my gun at Frost, who looked unfazed as he closed the door behind him and strolled over to where I was sitting.
"Where is she?" I asked him.
"There's something you need to see." He spoke, turning on the TV. I sat up and glared at the television, as my heart started to race when I saw Alex's picture on the screen.
"Reporting live from the Queensboro Bridge, where eighteen year old, Alexandria Wayne, the daughter of billionaire Bruce Wayne, was involved in a terrible motorcycle accident last night. Witnesses say that Miss Wayne lost control of her bike and fell off, slamming against the wall behind me, right before her bike slammed against her. She was transported to Gotham General Hospital late last night and her status is unknown at the moment. Reporting live from the Queensboro Bridge, back to you in the studio."
"Turn it off!" I growled, standing up and pacing back and forth. This was all my fault and I couldn't help but to feel guilty, especially knowing that I was the reason why my kitten was involved in that accident. What have I done? What...have...I...done? "I need to go see her."
"That may not be the best idea, Boss. I went up there and tried checking on the status of her condition, but her father has the entire floor blocked off. Nobody can come in and nobody can get out." I sighed heavily, rubbing my eyes, and turning away from him. There's no way that I can just sit here and wonder if she's alright or not. Regardless on if her father did have the entire hospital floor blocked off...I was going to make sure my kitten was good. "May I speak freely?"
"Of course." I grumbled, nodding my head.
"I can hack into the hospital cameras, and possibly the hospital's database, and find out the status of her condition but that's a big if."
"Get it done and get it done now!"
"I'm on it, Boss." He hurried out of the room as I sat on the floor and laid down, laughing hysterically as I stared up at the ceiling. "Don't worry, kitten. I'm going to do everything I can to get you back in my life, but first...there's something I need to take care of. Something I should've done a long time ago."
