*~Alexandria~*
"Come on out Blue!" I called out, sitting on the bed, eating vanilla ice cream straight from the carton. I was waiting for Blue to come out of the bathroom, so I could see how she looked, before she went on her date with Frost. I'm not sure why, but I was really happy that they were going on this date; only because I felt like it was something they both needed. Yes, that's just my opinion, but whatever. They clearly like each other and that's all that matters.
"Cancel the date! I'm not going!" She said.
"Harper...get your ass out here! Now!" See...I didn't want to take it there and call her out by her government name, but she took me there. I heard the door unlock as she stepped out of the bathroom, nervously glancing at me.
"You didn't have to blast out my government name, Alexandria!" She huffed. "But...how do I look?"
Blue's Outfit
"You look amazing, Blue!" I smiled.
"Really? You don't think I look...you know..." She questioned, scrunching up her face. I've never seen Blue so nervous, but I had to remind myself that she was locked away for years so it was normal for her to be nervous.
"No...you look perfect, and I'm sure Frost will think so too." She slowly sighed with relief, smiling as she pulled me into her arms.
"Thanks for pushing us to go out tonight. I'm excited to go out and have some fun, and what makes it even better...Frost is taking me somewhere special. Somewhere where I won't get caught in public, all while not worrying about someone recognizing us." I smiled, loving how happy she was right now. I'll admit...I was a little jealous because I knew Joker wasn't the romantic type, but we had our moments where he could be slightly romantic. "So...what do you and Mister J have planned for tonight?"
"Um...I'm not really sure. I haven't seen or spoken to him since earlier, but I'm sure he's around here somewhere. I'll look for him once you guys leave, but I'm gonna go check on Frost while you finish getting ready." I told her, grabbing the carton of ice cream, and leaving the room.
Walking down the hall, I got to Frost's room and knocked on the door, pushing the door open and walking in uninvited. Frost was standing in front of the mirror, adjusting his tie, as he glared at me through the mirror.
"Looking sharp, Frost!" I teased. He chuckled as he turned to face me, crossing his arms.
"Thanks. What's up?"
"Nothing. Just checking on you before you and Blue go out. She's so nervous and it's so adorable."
"She's not the only one." He grumbled.
"Oh wow. Jonny Frost is nervous? I don't believe it!" I faked gasped.
"Fuck off, Alex." He chuckled. Frost tries so hard to keep a straight, stone face, but I've always found a way to make him laugh. "Thanks for setting us up, by the way."
"Don't thank me just yet. Wait until after the date, just in case things don't work out, but I'm sure it will." I assured him, turning to leave, but he quickly stopped me.
"Hey Alex?"
"Yeah?"
"About earlier...when you told me about your pregnancy...it's not that I'm not happy for you and Boss, but..." He began, as his voice trailed off.
"But what?" I asked him.
"I think he still has feelings for Harley." I furrowed my eyebrows, clearing my throat, as I took a deep breath.
"Why do you say that?"
"Look...there's no doubt in my mind that Boss loves you. When he thought that you were dead, he went into the deepest, darkest depression I have ever seen him in. Not even when Harley cheated on him, have I ever seen him so down, but he was. It was like...a piece of his soul festered and died." He said.
"If that's true, then why did you just say that you think he still has feelings for Harley?"
"The night of your accident, when Harley came and saw Joker at the club, I saw the look in his eyes when he saw her for the first time since she cheated on him. It was the same look he gives you, which basically told me that he still loves her."
"Wow...okay then. Well...I guess it's a good thing that she's dead then, huh? I've never been really good with competition anyways." I smiled, shrugging my shoulders. Even though I was smiling on the outside, I couldn't ignore the burning anger I felt on the inside. Did Joker really still have feelings for Harley? Does he still love her?
"I didn't mean to upset you, Alex. You're cool and I actually consider you a friend, so I just don't want to see you get hurt." He spoke, making me look up at him.
"You really think he still loves her?"
"I can't really say, but I'm sure that he doesn't anymore. The night he killed Harley, he admitted to doing it for you. Getting justice for your false death." I sighed heavily, checking the time and realizing that it was seven o'clock on the dot.
"Would you look at the time? It's seven and that means that it is time for your date with Blue!" I said, quickly changing the subject. "I'll go get her, while you wait downstairs, so she can make her grand entrance." He nodded his head, while I hurried out of his room, heading back into Blue's room. All this ripping and running has me so nauseous, but I'll deal with my pregnancy issues later. Right now, I needed to get my mind off of what Frost told me, but I know that once I see Joker...all my emotions may or may not come out.
