*~Omniscient~*
Tonight was the night that Harley was going to make herself known and try and win Joker back. She had been waiting for this moment for months, but she knew that she wouldn't be able to talk to him without losing her life.
Joker sat in the lounge, sipping on his drink, and waiting for Alex to arrive. After their conversation the night before, it was clear to him that she did more than just complete him. Though he didn't admit it to her or anyone else...he was actually in love with Alexandria and that scared him. The last person he was deeply in love with, broke his heart and left him with nothing but his angry, insane thoughts. Alex was different in his eyes though. He just knew that she wouldn't hurt him the way Harley did.
"Aye Boss!" Frost called out, bursting into the room.
"How many times do I have to tell you not to come in unannounced?" He growled, glaring at Frost.
"I know, but this is important."
"It always is, isn't it?" He chuckled, rolling his eyes. "Alright...what is it?"
"It's Harley, J. She's here." He said. Joker snapped his neck in Frost's direction, getting up from his seat.
"Where?"
"Oh Puddin'!" The sound of Harley Quinn's voice made the hair on the back of Joker's neck stand up. He gripped his cane in his hands, turned around to see her posted up with a devious smile on her face.
"I've missed you so much, Puddin!"
"Harley, Harley, Harley..." He smiled. "How the hell are you, doll?"
"Miserable without you, Mistah J." pouted, swinging her legs forward, as she slid down off of the wall. "You still look good, I see." She approached him with extreme caution, not knowing what to expect from him.
"That'll never change, doll face. Frost...why don't you go grab me and Harley a drink." Joker said, snapping his fingers. Frost was at loss for words, not knowing what was going through Joker's head, but he dared not question it. "Oh, and Jonny boy? Do not let Alex in here under any circumstances."
"Yes sir." He left the room, leaving them alone as he headed downstairs and towards the bar; not knowing that Alex had just arrived and was about to make her way towards the lounge.
"So Puddin', I hear you gotta new toy to play with." Harley began.
"Why does that concern you? You cheated on me, remember? YOU left ME, REMEMBER?!"
"The only thing I remember is us having so much fun. Remember that, Puddin'? You and me? The King and Queen of Gotham City?" She smirked, wrapping her arms around his neck. She placed a soft kiss on his neck, making him groan a little as she looked up at him. He chuckled and brought his hand up to her neck, gently squeezing it, before he tightened his grip.
"Like I said before, doll face. The only thing I remember was you cheating and you leaving!" He growled. Harley laughed, throwing her head back as she wrapped her arms around his waist.
"You know I like it rough, Puddin' Come rev up your Harley like old times! Vroom, Vroom!"
"Or...I could just kill you like I planned to do from the very start." He smiled, pulling his gun out of his hoister and jamming it against her temple.
"Don't hurt me, Puddin'. I'll be your friend." She spoke, mimicking him from the time they were on the bridge together. "Do it. Do it, do it, do it, do it, do it." He pulled the trigger, making her jump, but nothing happened. Just knowing that he was willing to pull the trigger though...that hurt her deeply.
"HA! HA! HA!" Joker laughed, seeing the fear plastered all over her face. "That taste you have in your mouth right now...that's what dying taste like, doll."
"So...you'd really kill me? Huh? Why? Because you have a new toy to play with?" He didn't respond, only because he didn't see Alex as a toy. At first he did, but all that changed once he realized that he was falling for her. Harley peeked behind him, noticing that someone was standing in the doorway watching them. It was Alex. "Does she know that she's just a toy to you? Because surely you aren't in love with her."
"Of course not!" Joker growled. "People like you and me...we don't...fall in love."
"You sure? Because what we had was pretty special. Don't you agree?" She ran her finger down the opening of his unbuttoned shirt, biting down on her button lip as she peeked behind him once again.
Alex stood there watching and listening to their conversation, feeling her heart breaking in her chest at what Joker had just said. She had no idea that she was just a "toy" to him, but now that she did...she grew angry.
"What we had was special, but you...you screwed it up!"
"I know and if you'll let me...I'll make it up to you." She whispered, pulling him down to her lips and kissing him long and hard.
"Alex! You shouldn't be up here!" Frost said, coming out of nowhere with two drinks in his hand. Joker pulled back and looked behind him, seeing Alex standing there, while Frost handed the drinks to one of his henchman and tried to pull her away. Out of nowhere, Alex grabbed Frost's arm and twisted it around as she brought her knee up into his stomach. He let out a groan as he fell to the ground.
"She got some moves, huh Puddin'?" Harley smirked, knowing exactly what she was doing.
"Alex..." Joker began, but she grabbed one of the glasses and lunged it at his head; missing him by only a few inches.
"Fuck you, Joker! FUCK YOU!" She screamed, turning and storming away as she quickly left the club.
"Go after her! Now!" Frost pulled himself up off of the floor, holding his stomach as he instructed for two of the henchmen to follow her.
Alex had tears falling down her face as she climbed on her bike and started it up, putting on her helmet before pulling off. She knew Joker's boys were coming after her, and she wanted to get far away from them before they caught her and dragged her back to him.
Speeding down the highway, Alex weaved in and out of traffic, crying hysterically as she headed towards her penthouse.
First your birth parents.
Then your own dad.
Now Joker.
You are one unlovable bitch!
Alex closed her eyes, trying to silence the thoughts that were circulating through her head, but they wouldn't shut up. As soon as she opened her eyes again, she saw headlights directly in front of her, and she quickly swerved; losing balance as she fell off of her bike...rolling all the way over towards the cement wall. The last thing she remembers is slightly opening her eyes, seeing her bike spinning towards her, before she closed her eyes back and completely blacked out.
