After Alex and her friend walked out of here, I was at a loss for words, as I just stood there staring at the door. I had yelled for her to get her ass back here, but I should've known she wouldn't come back. That girl there never listens to me and it is the most frustrating thing ever.

"Should I go after them?" Frost asked me, unsure of what to do. I glared at him and over at the TV, seeing Harley and her two friends, basically torturing poor old Batsy Bruce. I can't say that I feel sorry for him, especially after he lied to me about Alex being dead, but at the same time...I had a deep feeling in the pit of my stomach that was urging me to go and help him. SIKE! I hope they destroy that bat before Alex has a chance to save him, because if they don't do...I surely will. "Boss?"

"No. Let them go." I grumbled, turning and walking off.

She left you.

After she promised not to.

SHE. FUCKING. LEFT. YOU!

Here comes the voices, yet again, taunting me about Alex. Yes, she did promise not to leave me again, and yet...she's gone. Gone to put herself and our child in danger. Our child. Just the thought of something happening to either one of them sent chills up and down my spine.

"She made her bed and she's just going to have to lie in it." I said to myself, walking into my room and slamming the door shut.

More like casket.

"Shut up."

Harley will kill her, just like you TRIED to kill Harley.

"And that will be her own fault."

You can't live without her and you know it.

"I can and I will."

She's going to die, only this time...she won't come back.

For months I tried to cope with Alex's death, seeing her beautiful face and hearing her beautiful voice every time I closed my eyes. Reminiscing on all the times we'd have amazing sex, giving her every inch of me, while she screamed in my ear and called out my name. In those first three months, I was a complete wreck, only thinking about what I could've done to prevent her from leaving the club and getting into that accident. Want to know what I came up with? Nothing. Absolutely nothing! There was nothing I could've done and I knew that for a fact, but there was something that I could do now.

I could go to the chemical plant, sweet talk Harley, and once I have her eating out of the palm of my hand...I could end her like she should've been ended a long time ago. She probably wouldn't trust me this time around, though I can't say that I blame her, but this time she'll have her friends buzzing in her ear and I couldn't have that. Poison Ivy, that human weed plant, was way smarter than I made her out to be, and Livewire...well that human spark plug was just all bark with no bite. Harley couldn't stand her just as much as I couldn't, so maybe I could use that to my advantage. Turn them against each other, talking Harley into killing her, while I took care of Ivy. Hm...decisions, decisions.

Harley won't ever trust you again.

"Can you blame her? That was the second time I've tried to kill her, but she just won't die!"

You tried to kill her, all because of Alex.

"She's the reason why Alex almost died."

Harley was the one for you. NOT ALEX!

"I disagree."

The more I replied to the voices in my head, the madder I got because I knew what they were doing. I just wished that I could find someway to quiet the noise, but how? Looking down at my holster, I pulled out my gold gun and stared at it. I gripped it tightly in my hands, closing my eyes, as I imagined myself putting a bullet through my own skull.

"Russian Roulette anyone?" I chuckled, looking around my empty room. I emptied all of the bullets out of it, leaving only one, as I closed it back and sat down on the floor. I pressed the barrel of the gun in between my eyes, staring straight ahead as I pulled the trigger.

CLICK.

"Damn." I pulled it again.

CLICK.

"Shit." I closed my eyes and froze, seeing Alex's face in the back of my mind. What if she wasn't going to leave me? What if she saves Batsy and comes back home to me? Finding my brains splattered all over this room. Would she be devastated? Angry? Happy? I couldn't do this to her. I wouldn't do this to her. I had to remember that I would soon be a father and I refused to leave my queen or our baby alone in this dangerous world. Despite me being the dangerous part of it.

"FROST!" I called out, standing up from the floor and proceeding into the hallway.

"Sir?" He said, standing at the bottom of the stairs.

"Gather the boys and bring the car around. We're going to a little party."
