*~Joker~*
Why? Why did I talk about my past life, knowing that it was going to affect me the way it always has whenever I think about it. I know exactly why I talked about it, but maybe I should've just lied and told her that first story was the truth instead of bringing up...Jeannie.
Alex wanted to know who you were before the clown makeup.
You told her because you actually love her!
But LOVE is for the WEAK.
I growled, ramming my fists into the sides of my head, stopping the voices from taunting me. It was starting to get physically, mentally, and emotionally exhausting, and I hope that my child doesn't inherit my psychotic genes.
"My child." I grumbled. Those words tasted like vinegar coming out of my mouth, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't happy. Not only did I get a second chance at life, but I was also getting a second chance at becoming a father. The only problem was that I needed to get myself and my family out of this crazy lifestyle, before something else bad happens to me, or worse...to Alex and the baby.
"Alex?" I called out, getting up from where I was. The house was oddly quietly and there was no signs of Alex, Frost, or the blue haired girl. "Alexandria!"
"Whaaaatttt?" I heard her cute, whiny voice, coming from downstairs. I headed downstairs, finding her in the kitchen, sitting in front of different varieties of snack foods and watching TV.
How and when a TV was brought into my kitchen, I will never know, but I surely will be asking her. "Look who finally decided to make himself know. Where have you been?" She shoved a ding dong cake in her mouth, glaring at me. Who the hell was she to ask me where I've been? Clearly she's forgotten who the fuck she was talking too.
"The real question is...where the hell is everyone?" I asked her.
"Blue and Frost are out on a date and your little henchmen are outside. I needed peace and quiet, therefore...I kicked them out." Something was wrong. I could tell by the way she was acting towards me.
"Okay...what's wrong with you, kitten?" She glared up at me, as hatred, anger, and sadness filled her eyes.
"I have a question for you, Joker. And don't you dare lie to me." She spoke, picking up the remote and turning the volume down on the TV. "Do you...or did you...still have feelings for Harley?" I just stared at her, not knowing how to answer her question. Yes, seeing Harley in the club that night brought back a lot of old feelings, but did I still have feelings for her? Probably not.
"No, I don't think so. She is dead to me...no pun intended." I laughed. She didn't laugh at my joke, which only made me laugh harder. "Oh come on, princess! Laugh!"
"Do I look like I'm in a laughing mood?"
"No, but you should really lighten up doll face." I reached out to touch her face, only to have her slap my hand away.
"Don't touch me." She spat, rolling her eyes. I couldn't help but to snicker as I gripped her wrist and pulled her up from the bar stool, spinning her around and slamming her against the refrigerator.
"Seeing you so mad at me right now...it has me feeling so...so...HOT!" I purred, placing my tatted hand over her beautiful mouth. "I killed Harley for you, my love, because I THOUGHT you were dead and she was the reason." She didn't say anything, as she shot daggers into me with her eyes. I removed my hand from her mouth, tracing her lips with my finger, before slowly leaning in for a kiss.
"Boss!" I heard Frost call out, as I huffed and took a step back from Alex.
"Yes Frost? What is it?" I could've sworn he and the blue haired girl was supposed to be on a date. Why are they back?
"You have to see this, J." He grabbed the remote and turned the TV up, as we all turned our attention towards the "BREAKING NEWS" alert that was on the screen.
"Hiya beautiful people of Gotham. I am the one, the only, the infamous... Harley Quinn!" My eyes widened, seeing Harley on the TV as she bowed after her introduction.
"It can't be." I grumbled.
"So much for her being dead." I heard Alex grumble. I ignored her, keeping my eyes on the screen, trying to figure out how Harley survived after I crashed my car into the river. Of course...the only person I could think of that would save her, was Batsy.
"Tonight, we have a very special show planned for all you beautiful people, but first...let me introduce you to my two lovely co-hosts...Poison Ivy and Livewire!" She announced, as the human plant and the human spark plug appeared on the television.
"Of course." I scoffed.
"Leslie and Pamela." Alex chuckled. "Typical hoe villains."
"Tell me about it. Those three were like the Mean Girls of Arkham, except...Poison Ivy was Regina George, Livewire was Gretchen Wieners, and Harley was the dumb one. I could've sworn I heard them having a three way orgy one night, putting on a show for the orderlies." The Blue haired girl said, shaking her head.
"I wouldn't put it past them."
"We also have a few special guests joining us tonight!" Harley began, grinning as she walked over towards a figure that was tied up, with a bag over his head. "Meet our first guest. He's loved by all the people of Gotham, and he just so happens to be one of the most eligible bachelors in town. Give it up ladies and gentleman...for Bruce Wayne!" She snatched the bag from off of his head, revealing Bruce as they did a close up on his face.
"Dad!" Alex gasped, covering her mouth.
"Would you like to say a few words to the people, Mr. Wayne?" He glared up at her, mumbling something, but we couldn't make it out because he had duct tape on his mouth. "What was that? You want to know what you're doing here?" She took a seat on his lap and kissed his cheek, leaving a red lipstick mark on his cheek.
"She's at the chemical plant." I spoke up, realizing that her surroundings were oddly familiar.
"Are you sure?" Alex asked me.
"Of course I'm sure, kitten. I could never forget that place, no matter how much I wanted to."
"I have to go save him." I glared at her, as she ran her fingers through her hair. Save him? After everything he did to her? Choosing another woman over her, kicking her out, and locking her away in Arkham? If I'm being honest, I'd leave his ass there and allow the Queens of Crime to do what they plan on doing. But hey...that's just me.
