Meeting Finn

Millie's POV.

After my big phone loss, I borrowed my dads old phone that wasn't touch screen but was an old Nokia.

My dad was going to get my fixed after what Ava had done. She got a yelling and told off. That will straighten her out.

I went to meet Finn and of course I was late. I met up and he was sat there for ages. I felt bad for him. He got up and came up to me.

"I know I'm late, I had a little incident with Ava and my dad let me borrow his old phone so he could get mine fixed." I told him.

"What happened to yours?" He asked calmly.

"Ava tripped me and made me break my own phone. It's got a crack in it and it won't turn on. So my dad is going to fix it for me." I told Finn.

"I'm sorry about that." He spoke.

"No need. I'm fine now." I don't like this phone but it's what I have for now.

"Where do you wanna go?" He asks me.

"Anywhere you wanna go. I don't mind." Finn took me somewhere different and we entered this building and found ourselves in the mall.

I looked at the shops and we popped by a donut shop which I loved. I grabbed a bag and so did Finn.

We got Starbucks and then Nando's for dinner. I had enough money for that and so did he.

He got me a slush and we just sat outside quietly and let the air blow between our faces.

"How was that for you?" He asked me smiling.

"Better than smashing my phone." I commented. "Wow! It's beautiful. What time is it?" Finn looks and tells me the time.

"It's 5:30." He told me. I got up and Finn got up too.

"Thanks for today, Finn. I could use a good laugh and a smile after Ava." I said.

"Anytime. If you want me to take care of her just ring and ask. I don't mind." Finn offered.

"I would..." I though for a second. "...but Ava would think we're dating. No fence to that though. I like you but not that way." I made clear. He laughed and smiled.

"It's fine. I don't mind. It's what friends do, isn't it?" I nod and let him brace me into a hug. I let the hug last for how long I wanted it too. I couldn't force myself out of it. I leaned out and smiled at Finn, gazing at his eyes. I felt a slight tingle inside and I knew something was up. He moved up close and our faces nearly touched. We heard noises that broke us away and we walked ahead getting away. We noticed who they were and ran for it. Gaten, Caleb and Noah. I noticed Sadie with them but another girl was also with them as well. I didn't recognise her but I knew she wasn't part of our gang. We hid and tried to keep a low profile.

"That was close." Finn spoke. I nod and look to the gang. I felt angry right now. Not like I wanted to hang out with them but they hung out with some random girl. She was tall and had a short hair cut. I turn to Finn.

"I think they're ditching us for that new girl." I told Finn looking over at him. He looked and saw her.

"That's Sophia. She's cool. Don't worry we was planning on introducing you guys." Finn said. He knew about it.

"You knew?" I asked.

"Yeah. Don't worry you still have Sadie. She hasn't blown you off for her." Finn told.

"It looks it." I look over. They were gone and I felt betrayed. "I'm just gonna go home." I tell him and walk off.

"Millie!" I hear Finn calls out for me. I rush home and shut the door. Charlie and Paige were sat on the sofa looking at me. I walk through to the kitchen and turn to my mom. She turns and walks over.

"Why didnt you tell me Ava was causing trouble?" My mom asked.

"I tried but you was too important with work." I told her.

"I rang the office and I'm staying home from now on." Mom told me. I looked around for Ava.

"Where is she?" I ask.

"In her room." Paige tells. I place dads phone down and sit at the isle.

"What's up Mills?" She asks.

"Sadie and the boys were hanging out with someone else and Finn knew about it." I told her. "I feel betrayed." I told her. She came round and hugged me tight.

"Don't worry sweetheart. They won't forget about you. No one can. Your my Mills." I smiled as she called me her Mills. "Your dad is gone to fix your phone. You should get it in the next few days." I nod and take myself upstairs.

I am too full to eat and I don't feel like eating after what I witnessed today. Was they excluding me from the group. was they making Sophia the leader? All the questions were running through my mind and I couldn't stop them. I felt betrayed by them and my friend. My best friend as well. I can't believe them. I'm gonna confront them tomorrow. Find out if I'm part of the group or not.
