Broken

Millie's POV.

I felt good from yesterday. I was back to being Millie again. The gang wanted me back for good and I seen or heard anything from the replacement in the group. I hope I never meet her.

"Millie?" I hear Finn call. I get out my bed and go over to my window. I look out and pull up my window and hang out of it.

"Finn! Why aren't you coming in?" I ask.

"I didn't want to disturb your parents!" Finn yelled back.

"My dads at work and my mom is downstairs." Finn looks down and I giggle.

"Oh!" He says. "I'll meet you at your front door." He runs off and I go chasing after him. I escape my room and down the stairs. I open the door and Finn stands there, his hand is a fist as if he was going to knock. "Hey!" He smiles. I smile and jump on him. He swings me round, holding tight on me and I smile with my eyes closed.

"Millie? Who is that?" I hear my mom call. I jump off and turn. My mom sees Finn and smiles. "Oh finn. Nice to see you. Come in." I let Finn walk in and I close the door behind us. My mom makes eyes at me and my clothes. I looked down and saw that I was in my pyjamas.

"I'm gonna get dressed. Talk with my mom." I leave them behind and go into my room and start stressing about. What do I wear today?

Finn's POV.

"So! Mrs Brown. Where's Mr Brown?" I ask.

"He's working. You going out with Millie today?" She asks.

"Yeah. The gang have something to show Millie. I'm a bit scared about it." I start to tell.

"Why?" She asks.

"Don't tell Millie but..." I was scared to even tell her just in case Millie turns up and overhears.

"Finn?" She calls me.

"It's nothing." I say. Millie comes out all dressed and done up and jumps off the second step to the bottom of the stairs. She grabs my hand and turns to her mom.

"Did you brush your teeth?" Her mom asked.

"Yes!" She answered. "Can we go?" I nod and take Millie outside. She waves to her mom and we leave the house. I begin to walk ahead until I got a message of Millie's mom.

Mrs Brown: What is it? Tell me! x

Finn: the gang wants Millie to meet the new girl who joined our group. We're going now. Please don't tell Millie. She won't meet her if she finds out.

Mrs Brown: just to let you know, she'll get mad at you for not telling her. x

Finn: I know. I'll tell her I promise you.

Mrs Brown: you better. I don't want my daughter coming home crying. x

Finn: it will be fine.

After sneakily texting Millie's mom we arrived at the group hang out. We waited and Millie got a little bored.

"What is taking them so long?" Millie asks.

I notice them from a far and there was the other girl. I looked to Millie and grabbed her and held her to face me.

"I know you wanted to hangout with the group today but they had a plan. It wasn't my plan. I tried to tell them it was a bad idea."

"What are you on about Finn?" Millie asks. She turns and the group arrive. Millie didn't turn back yet.

"Millie! We have someone here for you to meet. Sophia Lillis, this is Millie bobby brown. Millie, this is Sophia." Millie turned to me and looked angry with a hint of confusion.

"You tricked me." Millie said. I knew this would happen. "Why would you do that to me?" She turns back. "No! I don't want to be friends with you. You all chose her to be part of the group and you're replacing me yet again." Millie said to the gang. She turned and walked away. I chased after her.

"Millie! I'm sorry! I told them this would happen." I told Millie. "I knew how you would react. I didn't want to hurt you. Please Millie!" I begged. She turned her eyes full of tears.

"I can't believe you still did it anyway! I thought you loved me?" She said crying quietly.

"I do." I say.

"Well you still went behind my back and did this whole plan. You wanted to make this happen. I can't believe you. You're just like them. Why don't you date that new girl who's replacing me and leave me alone!" And there it was. The horrible situation I would go through with her. She ran off and I got my phone out and called Mrs Brown.

"Hi mrs Brown. Turns out you're right. I'm sorry about it. Tell Millie I love her and I was never meant to hurt her. She might be home soon. She's running and crying." All I could hear was heavy sighing and a few judgement silences.

"I told you Finn! Don't worry. I'll see to Millie." She said. I ended the call and silently stood there, tears escaping my eyes.

"We're sorry Finn." I heard Noah say. He placed his hand on my shoulder as Millie was running out my sight. I don't know why but I felt broken.
