"A-S-T-O-N" Joana spells the wrong spelling again.
"As-ton-ded" I pronounce the word Astounded more clearly for her.

Joana falls on the floor while her half body is on the lower steps of the walking pathway in between the seats, dramatically as she has again failed to pronounce such an easy word.
We are practicing for her finale since last hour. She has won every single round until now.
Joana is such a weird nerdy. She can spell the hardest words like scherenschnitte whatever but can't spell such an easy word like astounded.

Honestly this spelling bee practices have been soo fun. I've learned so many new words like logerrea and scuzzbag which is another word for scum bag.

"I can't do this Tori. I should just give up." Joana says still staring at the ceiling.
"Only two freakin' days are left till the competition and you are talking about giving up?" I say from the stage as my legs dangle down with her fat spelling bee book on my lap.

Anna enters the auditorium with various different types of cut out flowers carefully balancing in her tiny hands. She sits on one of the front row seats and says, "guys, I need you all to tell me which one is the best for 'entrance band' type thingy cause I can't decide."

She raises two different types of beautifully cut and carved flowers in each of her hand and I jump down from the stage.
"Careful!" Kage says as he walks down the stairs of the stage into the hall.

"Relax it's just a small jump" I answer Kage.
"Wow these are cherubically beautiful" Caleb says as he hops his way to the front row from over the seats.

Since Joana's spelling bee competition it has become sort of a mocking quiz for everyone around to see who uses the most difficult word in their sentences.

"Caleb, I hope you do realize that cherubic itself means beautiful." Kage says mockingly to Caleb.
"Yeah man, at least praise me as I'm trying to add some new to words to my dictionary." Caleb says as he plops himself down on the seat right next to Anna.

Caleb and Kage have lately been bonding a lot. It's as if they have found their long lost brother which is kind of funny if you take that Gake's accident under consideration.

"Well, honestly Anna you are an astoundingly great scherenschnitte." I say as I grab one of the beautiful art works from Anna's hand and everyone in the auditorium goes all 'woahs and oohs' with whistles and claps and I actingly bow down to them, giving a funny royal wave and fly kisses.

"Wait wait, what does that even mean?" Ben asks irritated.
"It means that Anna is amazingly great at cutting paperwork." I say with proudly raised eyebrows and everyone laughs so do I.

Windy from the WEG says, "what's new it? You just said what everyone knows" to which Mr. McAndrew replies while entering the auditorium, "the new thing in this is that, my lovely students are now learning new words, no matter even if it is to mock each other." He drops his files and other stuff on the not-yet-completed-entrance-table and says to Windy, "which others should appreciate."

He then climbs two or three rows and says, "let's see what Brittney has got for us." Everyone starts to scatter around, some move to the stage some move to the lighting area and others leave for backstage cleaning the entire auditorium in a pin drop silence. I move to the lighting area and give them command to start the practice. The auditorium goes all black and two spotlights shines on the stage. Zack is under one spotlight and Brittney is in other one.

"Romeo, why aren't you replying to my texts, Romeo?" Brittney acts looking around on the stage cluelessly walking towards Zack.
"Oh Juliet!" Zack says with zero enthusiasm.

Zack is one of those not-interested-in-ya kinda guy. But we all can see how much he cares for Brittney secretly. But our little cheerleader is busy kissing other's asses.

"Come on man, show some interest!" Mr. McAndrew shouts from back of the auditorium.

Romeo and Juliet version 2018 is something we are planning to do in the remaining time when judges calculate the marks and figure out who's the winner.

"Romeo, I know you have been seeing my - " Britteny stops in mid sentence and puts her fingers on her temples squeezing shut her eyes and starts to wobble on her feet and then falls in Zack's arms.

"What is happening? That wasn't in the scripts" I say confusingly looking at Ben who shrugs as if saying he doesn't know and we hear Zack lightly slapping Brittney's cheeks and say, "Brittney are you ok? Wake up!" To which Mr. McAndrew is now genuinely concerned and says, "Lights on everyone" and starts walking towards the stage. Everyone starts to gether around Zack and Brittney and when we look closely, Brittney had gone unconscious.

Zack shouts for someone to call an ambulance and Gloria loudly gasps and says, "oh my god! Is that why she was acting weird and not having drinks at the party last night.." And Windy completes her sentence, "because she is pregnant?"
Everyone starts whispering around and Zack carries her down the stage while I offer my car as no one knows how much time ambulance will take to reach here.

When we reach the hospital we are asked to stand outside while doctor checks Brittney. Anna and Caleb are right behind us in Caleb's car and they come to us asking what happened and we tell them that we are also waiting.

After fifteen minutes doctors come out of her room and says that they need to talk to her guardian to which Zack replies, "none of her parents are in the town. You can talk to us." To which Eveny says, "Yeah you can talk to Zack, seems like he is the baby daddy." I had no idea that they were also here until they opened their filthy mouths. Mr. McAndrew says, "Doc, you can talk to me, I'm her teacher I'll inform her parents." They both leave for the doctor's room and again we are left with no news.

We all wait patiently in the waiting room while Ben serves us with coffee and tea as it has already been a long day and everyone is tired.

Mr. McAndrew comes out of the room in a very angry expression and claps indicating for us to gather around him.

He speaks as we all quietly listen, "Brittney is out of danger and before anyone could ask for a DNA test telling who is the baby daddy, she is NOT pregnant." We leave a sigh of relief and Mr. McAndrew continues, "But Brittney is diagnosed for Mono" to which Joana immediately says in a horrified voice, "Mononucleosis?" Everyone turns to face her and Gloria says, "is this some kind of fancy cancer? We should totally tweet about it." To which Mr. McAndrew adds, "no Gloria. It is a disease which is caused by the interaction of a lot of saliva or shared drinks." We all look at each other cluelessly as no one knows what he wants to say, so he clarifies for us, "in other words it is known as 'The kissing disease' which is usually cured with rest and pain killers. It'll be great to tweet and make others aware of this disease"

We all break out in laughing as soon as we realized that it isn't as bad as being pregnant or having diagnosed with cancer. But our teacher doesn't find this funny so he says in a very angry tone, "this isn't a thing to be joked about. Do you guys even have idea how serious this is. I don't want anyone else to get sick right before our event. As much as I hate to ask this, has anyone else kissed Brittney?" All eyes are now on Zack and Ben. Zack rolls his eyes and says, "never in my wildest dreams" and walks away and Ben says, "it was weeks ago....." Soon we are interrupted with Ms. Monica who is sent by the school especially to know the updates and Mr. McAndrew leaves with her.

I say to Caleb and Anna, "looks like we have to find an alternate for the final event's time pass activity for the audience or else they'll start to scatter around"
