Chapter.31. Birthday

Today I'm spending the day with the family were all going out to breakfast then were going to the mall my dad is even coming and he hates shopping, i get dressed in some casual cloths and pull my natural hair into a slicked down pony tail and did some light makeup before i headed down stairs to meet my family.

We all loaded up into my hummer because its the biggest vehicle in  the house but my dad was driving today, i wanted Marcus to tag along today with me and my family even though were having a party together next week i wanted to spend my day with him too, but he said he was gonna be busy today so i didn't push the subject anymore, when we got too the little diner we were gonna have breakfast at we all made our way to an open table and took our seat's. The waitress came around a few minutes later with menus for everyone.

"Good morning, what can i get ya?" she asked smiling at everyone.

"Well all have some coffee to start please" my dad answered for everyone.

"Okay, anyone know what they want to order yet?" she said.

"Not yet" we all replied and she nodded saying she would be back in a few minutes with the coffee's.

After looking at the menu for a few minutes we all decided what we wanted and when the waitress came back we order, we then sat and talked drinking our coffee waiting for our food.

After breakfast we all headed to the hummer and hopped in me in the front with my dad and Aunt Clara and CeCe in the back. 

When we pulled up too the mall my dad parked and we all got out, me and my dad headed to the book store that i work out at its connected to the mall. He promised me some books for my birthday, after we got my books we head into the main mall to meet with Aunt Clara and CeCe when we met up with them we headed to bath an body works i needed some body spray and since they sell or masculine scents my dad came in too, we all split up in the store me and dad stayed together i wanted to get Marcus some stuff for his birthday.

After we left bath and body works we went into a few stores took our time looking around and trying on different things. I didn't end up getting anything but Cece did and my dad got some new hats. Once everyone was done we all headed to the Hummer and my dad drove us home. When we got home it was around 4 o'clock, they sang me happy birthday and gave me gift cards for my favorite stores, Dad got me one for Dunk'in Donuts, Aunt Clara got me one for Sephora, and Cece got me one for Subway because i like to go there during lunch sometimes. When i finished reading the cards Cece ran upstairs saying she had one more gift, She came back down with a gift bag with a tag that said from Marcus making my smile grow.

I opened the bag and pulled out the things inside the first thing was a cute light pink dress and the second thing wad a card with my name on it. I opened the card and it had an address on the inside the other part of the card had directions from Marcus.

Changed into the dress then head to your truck with your dad and put the address in your GPS and follow it, see you soon baby - M

I followed his directions and changed into the dress then i fixed up my makeup and met my dad down stairs we left the house and got in the Hummer i put the Address into the GPS and i knew exactly where i was going.

A little while later i pulled up too the McDonald's where we first met, i parked the car and walked inside i turned towards the counter and one of the workers pointed behind me i turned and seen Corey sitting at the table i first sat at with my dad when i met Marcus for the first time, i smiled and waved he motioned for me to come towards him then motioned for me to sit with him.

I sit across from him at the table and he pulls a purse of a gift bag and places it on the table.

"What's this?" i ask pulling the purse towards me.
