Chapter. 25. Insecure

Noel's pov

Right now I'm at school, in my college algebra class, Marcus is sitting across the room with his friends from the football team and I'm sitting with my friends from the boo

k club I finished my work early and I'm talking to my friends and we're joking around and laughing, trying to keep quiet, i turn my head and make eye contact with Marcus, he smiled and winked at me I smiled and blew him a kiss then returned to my conversation with my friends.
After class stayed behind to talk to the teacher about getting a tutor for the class cause I'm not completely understanding the new stuff we're learning.
"Hey Mr.Anderson" I said walking up to his desk.

"Hello Noel, is everything okay?" He asked looking up from the papers he was grading.

"Well, i know i have a pretty good grade in your class but i was really struggling in class today"

"Well i have a study help class after school at 2:45 to 3:30, You can come in and study with your peers and i'll explain things from the lesson that people didn't understand" he said.

"Thank you so much Mr.A i'll be there" i said smiling at him and turn to walk out the door.

"Hey, and bring that boyfriend of yours he could use some help too" he called after me.

"No problem" i said waving goodbye.

When i walked out of the classroom door i was pulled into someones chest, i looked up and seen Marcus smirking down at me.

"Hey beautiful, what took you so long?" he asked kissing my forehead.

I smiled at him "I was just asking Mr.A for some extra help in class, you should come with me he has a helper class after school today" i said pulling away and grabbing his hand as we walk down the hallway.

"I have work at 4 but i think i could do it" he said nodding his head.

"Good, i'll see you later" i said pecking his lips before pulling away and walking into my class.

"See ya baby" he said smiling and heading across the hall to his class.

End of the school day, Marcus's pov

Right now i'm walking down the hallway to Noels locker i see her looking at her self in the mirror on her locker with a frown, i walked up to her and wrapped my arms around her and kissed her shoulder .

"Hey Baby girl" I said into her ear, looking at her in the reflection of the mirror.

"Hey baby" she said smiling at me in the reflection of the mirror but it didn't reach her eye's.

"Lets head to Mr.A's room the study thing is gonna start soon" i said grabbing her hand as she closed her locker and turned to face me.

We walked down the hallway hand in hand, until we got to Mr.A's room then i let go of her hand to open the door and let Noel enter the room first.

"Noel, Marcus today we are doing small study groups cause i have some of my tutors here to help today. So two people per tutor and you two can go to Marie over at the table in the back". Mr. Anderson said as we entered the room directing us to the room in the back.

We walked too the back of the room i pulled out a chair for Noel and she sat down then i sat down next to her and pulled out my math note book and the paper we worked on in class today.

"Hey guys i'm Marie, i'm really just here to help break down whatever your not understanding so just let me know where you start getting confused during the steps of solving the equation" Marie said smiling at us, more Noel then me.

"I'm Marcus" i said introducing myself.

"And i'm Noel" Noel said introducing herself.

"Well i get confused on the last 2 steps of solving the equation" Noel said, leaning forward causing Marie to look down at her chest, Noel didn't notice she just began working on the paper right away and showing Marie where she gets confused on her work sheet.

"Yeah i'm only a little bit behind her i get confused on the last 3 steps of the equations" i said explaining my problem, while glaring slightly at her.

"Okay well i'm gonna catch Marcus up with you Noel while you start working on the next equation just work up the the step you know and then well finish the problem together" Marie explained, ignoring my glare.

After that she began to explain the part i get confused on to me, then we all did two more problems together.

"I have to use the bathroom i'll be back in a few minutes so you guys can just keep going with out me" Noel said standing up and walking out of the classroom, leaving me with wandering eyes Marie.

After a few minutes of me doing the next problem i lookup at Marie

"So, is there a reason you were staring at my girlfriends boobs?" i asked glaring at Marie.

"Oh my bad man i didn't know she was yours, she's a very beautiful girl" she apologized looking scared.

"Relax, i'm not about to make a big deal i was just letting you know she's taken" i said laughing.

"Okay cool" she said letting out a breath then laughed with me.

While we were laughing Noel came back.

"Hey baby" i said, she stared at us for a minute with look of what seemed to be jealousy, then she snapped out of her little trance and began to pack up her paper and books.

"Thanks for the help" she said to Marie before speeding out of the classroom before i could even say any thing.

"What the hell" i said to myself before standing up and grabbing my stuff then waving goodbye to Marie before speeding out of the classroom to go look for my girlfriend.

I sped down the hallway to find Noel getting stuff from her locker, i ran up to her.

"What happened back there?" i asked once i was in front of her.

"Nothing just go back to your little study date with Marie" She said getting more bitter as she said Marie.

"Are you serious" i said laughing, she just rolled her eyes and turned away from me walking towards the exit.

I stepped in front of her and stopped her from going anywhere, and dropping my bag.

"The only girl i want is you Noel and i know shes's not interested in me" i said.

"And why is that?" she asked.

"I have a feeling i'm not her type" i said smirking.

"Oh please your everyone's type she said rolling her eyes again.

"i'm not her type because your more her type" i said grabbing her sides.

"Oh" she said realizing what i meant and throwing her head on my chest in embarrassment.

"We need to have a little talk later Noel cause that was ridiculous" i said giving her a 'this isn't over' look.

"I'm sorry" She said looking up at me with a pout.

"I forgive you but this isn't okay, now i have to get to work but i'll be over your house when i get off to talk about some stuff" i said giving her a serious face but kissing her nose.

"Okay" she said nodding her head.

"I'll see you later" i said pecking her lips before picking up my bag and walking out the door with her hand in mine, i walk her to her car opened her door and once she was in i closed it, after she started it up i walked over to my truck and got in once she pulled out of her spot i did too then we drove out of the parking lot into the street her going left towards her house and me going right towards McDonald's.
