Its two months into the school year and i really enjoy this school, there's still some stuck up girls but no where near as many compared to back in Georgia.
Today i stayed after school for Book club and now i'm waiting for Cece to come pick me up and she's taking forever its been an hour and a half she's still not here and the suns going down so its getting chilly outside, i would've walked by now but i have no idea how to get home from this school cause I don't really pay attention on the ride to school so I will most likely get lost a dozen times before I actually make it home. So I decided to listen to music on the front steps of the school until my dead getting off of work at 6:30 and I'll just call him then, I put in my earphones and put my phone on shuffle.
As i was jamming to some songs from my early 2000's playlist i felt a presents behind me so when i turned around and seen a figure i swung as soon as in heard them moan in pain i knew it was Marcus,
"Now why in the hell would you sneak up on me boy! Are you crazy?!" i said.
"Sorry sweetheart but i was just trying to get your attention" he said
"what you doing out here though?" he said
"Cece never came to get me after my book club, and my dad doesn't get off until 6:30" i said.
"let me drive you home girl, its about to get cold out the suns going down" he said
"How i know you ain't going to try and kill me" i said.
"I would never take someone as beautiful as you away from the world" he said.
"lets just go you little sweet talker"i said, while blushing.
Marcus POV
I just got out of football practice i think the team is doing great so far this year we won our first two games we have another this Friday and then the big thanksgiving game before thanksgiving break. I'm Captain of the team so a lot of wait is put on my shoulders but i love this sport. I was walking out the building to my car when i seen Noel on the steps i called her name but she ignored me when i got closer i seen she had ear phones in so i was about to tap her shoulder and she swung on me, and let me tell you girl got hands bruh. Anyway she told me what was up so i offered her a ride and now were walking to my truck.
Noel's POV
"So why'd you move to Louisiana?" Marcus said.
"Um...my mom passed away..." i said.
"Oh..wow i'm sorry" he said.
"It's okay...she'll always be with me" i said, playing with her necklace she gave me.
"So, whats your ethnicity?" he said.
"As you know my father is black, but my mom is Latina, she's from Puerto Rico" i said
he smiled "you should come to the football game this Friday" he said
"Are you guys any good?" i said jokingly iv'e heard there really good.
"Yeah were good, i think you'll enjoy it and you get to see me looking all sexy in my uniform"
"Okay, i'll go"i said.
He smiled and then we pulled up to my house.
