Chapter.27. Its Almost Time

Wednesday, February 27th. 2017

Marcus's POV

I opened my eyes and looked around the room realizing it was Noel's i looked down and seen my arms wrapped around her, i'm so happy to have her in my arms and in the future i want to wake up like this everyday.

"Stop staring at me" she said out of no where as her lips formed into a smile.

"No i'll do what i want" I said kissing all over her face.

"Stop it" she said giggling and pushing me away.

"Okay" i said, and stopped kissing her face and began to kiss her neck.

"Stop it, we have to get ready for school" she said laughing and kissing my nose before getting out of bed, walking over to her dresser and getting clothes.

"Where are you going?" i called after her.

"The bathroom, i need to get ready she said over her shoulder.

She went into the bathroom and a little later she came out fully dressed and ready.

"Go get ready, you have clothes in the bottom drawer of my dresser" she said pointing towards the dresser.

"I'll get ready if you give me a kiss" i said smirking at her.

She smiled and shook her head, making me pout.

"Oh don't pout, the faster you get up and ready the faster you get breakfast and kisses" she said winking and blowing me a kiss.

I grinned at her and grabbed clothes from the drawer and went into the bathroom to get ready, i had an extra tooth brush in the bathroom, from the times i took naps after school or the one other time i stayed the night.

After i finished getting ready i left the bathroom and grabbed mine and Noel's phone off her night stand. 

i walked down stairs and headed into the kitchen to find Noel standing by the stove making french toast. I walked up behind her and wrapped my arms around her.

"Good morning Pookie" she said turning around and pecking my lips.

"Good morning Babygirl" i said pecking her lips a few more times before she turned around and finished breakfast. 

After we ate i offered to drive us to school instead of us driving separate, Noel agreed saying she missed going to school together we usually drive on our own because she likes getting to school early most days to either meet with a kid she's tutoring or help a teacher but i just get here around the same time everyone else does.

When we got to the school i parked and got out i threw my book bag on and grabbed Noel's. I walked around to her side of the truck and opened the door, she knows i like opening her door so she doesn't even try to open it anymore. When i opened the door i grabbed her hand and she hopped out then grabbed her book bag and put it on her back.

We walked to our lockers mine only a little down the hall from hers so once i was done i walked over to her on my walked over to her i over heard one of the school hoes say something about her.

"Why is he even with her Noel is too big he should be with someone fit like me" the girl said in her high pitched voice making me cringe. 

I turned to her and glared.

"Man fuck off you won't ever be half the woman she already is little girl, don't worry about me because i can handle mines bitch" i said getting mad its too early for this shit.

"Shit sorry sexy" she said biting her lip ignoring the fact that i just cussed her out.

"Ew bi-" i started to say with disgust, before Noel cut me off.

"What going on bae?" she asked when she walked over to me when she noticed my angry face she looked at me worried.

"Nothing baby these hoes just started too early this morning" i said walking into her and wrapping my arms around her as she wrapped hers around me.

"What they say Pookie?" she whispered in my ear.

"Nothing bae" i said as my face was in her neck.

"Okay.." she said sounding unsure.

"Stupid hoes" i mumbled angrily with my face still in her neck as the girl walked away.

"Lets go to class babe" Noel said running her hands through my curly hair.

"Okay" i said standing up straight pecking her lips the grabbing her hand and dragging her to our class, we used to have all our classes together then her math class was moved up, its alright though cause the class is right across the hall. 

After school, Noel's POV

I'm sitting on the bleachers in the gym listening the music waiting for Marcus he's in a team meeting with the basketball couch because the season starts in March and they have to start planing out plays and stuff.

After a while the boys begin to pack up and the couch dismisses them. i walked down the bleachers and walked over to Marcus and his friends.

"Hey baby you ready?" he asked hugging me and kissing my head.

"Yeah babe" i said smiling at him. 

"See ya'll" we said waving at his friends and then walked out of the gym hand in hand.

Once we got into the truck Marcus's phone went off he opened it me obviously peeking it was an unknown number i couldn't read the message but the way it made his face drop i could tell it wasn't good.

"Its a message from one of the killers guys he said that the meet up will be next Friday at a location there gonna send me the morning of" he said looking into my eyes.

"Its okay i got you babe just like you got me, our plan will work" i said reassuring him even though i'm worried to i have to be strong for him.

"Your right baby i'm just worried" he said.

"That's okay, but were smart and were making him an offer he can't refuse" i said giving him a reassuring smile. 

"Your right, thank you so much baby i wouldn't be able to do this without you and your dad" he said pulling me into a hug.

"Its no problem my dad knows what its like to want to keep your family safe" i said hugging him back.

"Lets go back to your place and order some pizza" he said smiling down at me.

"Okay but were taking a nap after we eat" i said nodding my head.

And that's what we did once we ate some pizza enjoying each others company and ignoring the fact that in a little over a week Marcus will be in one of the biggest meetings of his life, that might just be a life or death meeting. 

When we laid in each others arms before we fell asleep i could feel some of the stress leave his body. i fell asleep knowing it would return when he woke up again.
