hey ya'll I'm a Junior at Benjamin Franklin High school and i work at McDonald's because my moms job at the local diner isn't paying the bills. so when i got into high school, i got a job at McDonald's to help pay the bills.
Today i'm at work its Sunday afternoon the church rush just ended so i got about $50 in tips. so i'm just chilling right now until the bell on the door rings i get up to take their order i look up to speak, and see this beautiful girl with who i'm guessing is her father. when i realize i'm staring i clear my throat and then ask for there order,
"what can i get you" i said
"um she'll have a number 2 with a large fries and a fruit punch and ill have the same with a coke" the girls father said
"here or to go?" i said
"here" he said
"Name?"i said
"Monty" he said
then they go find a seat at one of the tables a few minutes later there food is done and i call his name and the girl comes up to get the food i hand it to her with a smile and a wink she smiles back shyly and blushes.
The next day Noel's POV
Hey i'm Noel i'm 16 almost 17 going into my junior year of High school i just moved too New Orleans about a month ago because 6 months ago my mom die from cancer and without both incomes coming into the house my dad last our home in Georgia the only home i've ever know. After that my dad asked his job to transfer him to Louisiana so we can live with my aunt Clara, and Cousin Cecelia who is also my best friend. We moved in with them and my dad started his job as a Mechanic at the companies local garage. My aunt doesn't want us to leave, because after my Uncle Robert died 6 years ago,her and Cece have been alone, no man in the house she can't seem to move on she's tried but my Uncle was the love her life. So when we moved here in August she was very welcoming and because my dad and her were best friends before him and my mom got married the only thing they ever argue over is who's cooking dinner.
when we lost the house we sold the furniture so there was less stuff to move and kept our clothes and personal belonging. When we got to Louisiana my aunt took me and my cousin shopping for my room and bathroom and i love how it ended up.

Anyway today is the first day of my junior year at my new school i'm really nervous to say the least but like mama always said fake it till ya make it, and that's exactly what im gonna do cause i refused to let my last 2 years of high school be like the others where i was bullied and beating into this horrible state of mind that i couldnt escape but after my mom died i knew that she wouldn't want me to stay like this so i did what the girls at school told me not to do i dressed nice and didn't just throw on sweatpants and a large t-shirt and put my hair in a messy bun i did my hair and makeup and chose a super cute outfit that my cousin and aunt told me to wear. I avoided the mirror cause i knew if i looked in it i would change my clothes and go right back to the bad state of mind so instead i went down stairs and ate breakfast except everyone's complements and told Cece she looked good too then me and Cece went outside got in her Black Jeep and drove to school.

Marcus's POV, Same Day, At school
Right now i'm in my Truck it's a 2003 white Chevy Silverago that my grandfather left me when he died it's an old truck but not too old . I'm on my way to school and its the first day and i'm excited i don't work as much during the school year because i play football during the fall and Basketball in the spring. I pull up to school park in the student parking lot, and head into the building and head to my locker, the school already sent out everyone's schedules and locker codes. I was putting away the books i don't need until after lunch when everyone starts whispering so i look up and see the girl from Yesterday looking fine as ever in a simple outfit that just fits her curvy thick body right. She noticed everyone in the hallway looking at her and puts her head down until the girl walking next to her says something and she picks it up again, when she picks her head up our eyes meet and she blushes so me being me i smirk and throw her a wink then her blush gets worse we hold eye contact for a few more seconds until her friend drags her in the direction of the office, i've seen the girl she's with around we use to be in the same friend group in Elementary and middle school then everyone split up when we got to high school i think her name is Cece or something. after our little moment i grab my books and head to home room.
Noel's POV, Same day
when we got to school me and Cece looked at each other nod our heads, wink, blow a kiss,and get out giggling. We walk into the building and as were walking i notice people staring at me, being slightly insecure i put my head down Cece noticed and nudged me telling me i look good, so i pick my head up and when i do my eyes meet with the boy that was working at McDonald's yesterday, i blush and when i do he smirks and and winks and that only made me blush worse, then Cece dragged me in the direction of the office. As were walking to the office some girls look at me with disgust and when Cece see's it she flips them off i giggle as they scoff and walk away. When we get into the main office the lady at the front desk smiles at me and Cece we return the smile.
"hey girls what can i help you with" she says'
"well Mrs.K my cousin here is new and needs her schedule" Cece said
"Okay whats your name sweetie" Mrs.K says
"Noel Thomas" i say
"Oh okay i just printed your schedule here you go Cupcake" Mrs.K says and hands me my schedule.
"thank you"i say with a smile
"your welcome hun"
Me and Cece leave the office looking at my schedule we have most classes together except for math she's like a math genius so she's in a senior AP math while i'm in Junior AP. We head to our first class which is English 11, my favorite class is English the class has always been easy for me i love reading and writing so its a breeze. When we walk into the class room everyone looks at us i blush when i notice that McDonald's boy was in here when he see's me he stopped talking to his friends and smirked at me, i shook my head with a smile and me and Cece head to the back of the room we had too walk past McDonald's boy and when i did he nodded at me with a smile, i return the nod and smile and sit down in the back when i do Cece smirks at me and i just shake my head while i blush.
