I HUFFED in annoyance when I saw my gown that I'll wear tomorrow night in my own reflection in the mirror. Goodness! Anong akala sakin ni Ate Faith sa strip club pupunta? Shit!

Halos lumuwa na talaga yung dibdib ko sa sobrang revealing nito and halos hindi na matabunan ang likurang bahagi nito. Argh!

Napangiwi rin ako ng makitang hapit ito sa katawan ko na halos makikita na rin ang hita ko sa slit sa kaliwang bahagi ng hita ko. My goodness!

"Mom! Sabi ko naman sa iyo na hindi talaga ako komportable--"

"No more complains Almond. My decision and your Ate Faith's decision is final. Yan na ang susuotin mo bukas." I tsked with annoyance.

"At isa pa baka makakita kana ng lalaking para sa iyo doon. Naku! Siguradong maraming apo na ang dadagsa samin doon sa Canada." She grinned like a Cheshire Cat in the Alice in the wonderland. Geez.

"Mom!"

She laugh humorously and pinch the tip of my nose. I smug simultaneously. "Geez. Act like your age Mom. Don't be so childish." Reklamo ko.

Minsan talaga hindi ko maintindihan ang ugali ni Mommy. Pero mas hindi ko rin maintindihan ang ugali ni Daddy. These bunch of bipolar people is giving me an aneurism.

"Oh my beautiful Almond, I'm just trying to tease--"

"Well you see, it's fucking working!" Asik ko sakanya. Imbes na pagalitan ako ay hindi na ako nagtaka na tatawanan niya lang ako. Argh!

"I'm fucked up!" I hide my face using my free hands and shake my head. Goodness! Umalis na ako doon at pumasok sa walk-in closet ko at hinubad ang binigay na black and gold revealing gown ni Ate Faith mula pa sa France. Tch!

Nagsuot lang ako ng isang simpleng T shirt at shorts bago lumabas doon. Hindi ko na nadatnan ni anino ni Mommy kaya laking pasasalamat ko dahil doon.

I sigh and grab my phone before I slammed the door behind. I heard some little chitchats nearby. Kumunot naman yung noo ko. Okay?

"Geez. Tita you should see the pictures if Almond and--"

Halos lumuwa naman yung mata ko at dali-daling sinamaan ng tingin si Gin na kakadapo lang ng tingin sa akin. He instantly gulp.

I cleared my throat. "What's with the little chitchats around?" I said trying to make my voice intimidating but I end up the same. Tch! Useless!

Mom chuckle. "Nothing sweetie. I just want to know if you're okay." She said smiling.

I grunt. "By asking them? You know they're also bunch of some lunatics." I said and rolled my eyes.

Rinig ko naman napaisip si Marc sa gilid. Bigla naman akong nagtaka ng makitang wala si Jake dito. "Asan si Jake?" Takang tanong ko.

Mom pointed at the kitchen. Then instantly a man wearing a cute little pink apron butt in. My mouth hung open in the sight.

"N-Nate?" I said in disbelief. Goodness. I raked down my eyes into him. I can't deny that he's really hot wearing a pink apron around his well toned body.

He grinned at me. "Hey Almond you want some?" He said and gestured me a huge bowl full of brownies. My eyes glimmer with amusement.

So husband material. Gosh!

Kumuha naman ako ng isa sabay subo agad. He just stared at me until I smile at him, widely.

"How did you know to bake this kind of sweet brownie?" I ask him still savoring the taste of his chocolate brownies. Yumm!
