I wake up a minute before my alarm clock goes off. For the first time in months I feel refreshed and ready to start my day. I turn over and see the bright light shining through my window. Vanessa is laying in her bed, scrolling through her phone. She looks back at me with a laugh.

"You actually fell asleep early last night." She shakes her head back and forth.

"I feel great." I sit up and look around the room. My eyes don't feel heavy from staying up late and bawling my eyes out. I feel happy and it's all because of Grayson.

"I heard you got your boy back." She seems surprised by her own sentence.

"Yeah, I did." I blush as I stand up to stretch.

"Where is he now?"

"He went back home." I lightly sigh. "He's still banned from campus."

"That sucks, especially since it wasn't his fault." She looks down at her phone and begins to play the infamous video.

"How do you have that?" I curiously ask.

"It's all over the school. Literally everybody is talking about it." She says as her eyes stay glued to the screen.

"What are people saying about it?"

"They're surprised. Ethan Dolan used to be a rockstar on this campus, he's the quarterback of the football team." She shakes her head back and forth. "Everybody knows the truth about that disgusting team now."

"It's about time." I roll my eyes as I begin to get dressed.

"So many girls came forward about how Ethan used them. They're all in a group chat talking about it. My best friend is unfortunately in it."

"How many girls are there?" I ask as I throw on a pair of shorts.

"A lot, like at least twenty." Vanessa scoffs.

"No fucking way." I gasp as I stare at her. "That many?"

"He's a pig, so is the rest of those dumb jocks." She puts her phone down. "That's why I always stayed away from them."

I think back to my time with Ethan. I regret most of it and half of the time I wish it didn't even happen, but then I wouldn't have Grayson. It's almost like I had to go through hard times in order to get to good ones.

"I have to get to class now." I sigh as I grab my bag.

"It's the last week, it'll go by fast." She flashes me a warm smile.

"Thank God." I chuckle as I walk over to the door. "I'll see you later."

Despite annoying her half the time, I actually really like Vanessa. She is a lot nicer than Jordyn and would never judge me for my mistakes. I head out into the hot sun to start my long walk across campus.

It still doesn't feel real that I got Grayson back. It almost feels like we were never apart, yet it also feels like we were separated for years. I finally arrive early to my communications class, which is a new record. I take a seat in my desk and look up at my professor. She looks at me and points her finger in my direction.

"Taylor, Head Chancellor Roer called a few minutes ago. She wants to speak with you in her office."

My stomach turns as I try to process her sentence. Why would she need to see me?

"Oh, okay." I nod as I rise to my feet.

"Do you know where her office is?" My professor asks.

"Yes." I shamefully say as I walk out of the room. This is so weird. What did I do now? I sigh as I walk back into the warm air.
