i woke up feeling arms wrapped around me. i turned over to see dani sleeping. great, how did this happen? how did i get here? i figured that i should get out of bed. i tapped his shoulder hoping he would wake up, but he didn't. i tapped it again, but no response. so i tried getting out of bed but his grip was to strong. i tried again but failed. i then called his name out. i finally got a response. "5 more minutes please." next thing i know, he pulled me close to him to that now i'm touching his bare chest. (he slept without a shirt on bc don't all boys? but he obviously had shorts on.) "dani, wake up! it's me rose!" all of a sudden his eyes open.
dani's p.o.v
i open my eyes to see my arms wrapped around rose. wait what? i quickly take my arms off of her and she sits up.
"i...um..i'm so sorry" i told her.
"it's ok, but um how did we end up in the same bed?" she asks
*i explain to her*
"oh ok" she said
"but why didn't you wake me up when you woke up?" i ask
rose's p.o.v
"well, i've been trying too for the past half hour" i told him
"sorry bout that" he said
"can we not tell anyone though?" i asked
"yeah sure" dani responded
i went downstairs to a saw ilana and jack holding hands saying "we're official!" i turned around and saw dani. out of no where, dani asked if i wanted to go get breakfast. i obviously said yes.
we got ready and headed out to a coffee shop. when we got there, we walked inside. dani and i were next in line. when it was our turn, i stepped up to see that the cashier was one of my friends from new jersey! his name is jacob. he looked so good. i never realized how handsome he was until now.
"omg hey rose! how have you been?"
"heyyyy! i'm great! you?"
"good! so what can i get you today?"
*you and dani tell him what you want*
dani offers to pay because you forgot your wallet at his house. as dani is getting the money, jacob starts talking.
dani's p.o.v
"so, are two dating?" he asks *i wish*
"nope, just friends!" she replies *oUCh tHat HurT* (i had to hahah)
"cool! so umm if you don't mind, can i have your number" he asks
"yeah of course! it's **********" she told him
after that, i was a little sad. wait, why am i sad? am i falling for her? yes, yes i am. what do i do? this is terrible. i have feelings for her! is this bad? where's jonah when you really need some advice? ughh she probably doesn't even like me. great.

he wanted my number! ahh i'm so happy!
(skip to the ride home)
me and dani ordered an uber. dani seemed very distant. he wouldn't look at me when i talked to him. he looked out the window the entire car ride home. what's up with him? when we got home, ilana and i decided to go back to our apartment. in the car ride, i told ilana everything about jacob, and dani not being himself.
2 weeks later
i've been waiting to go on a date with jacob for weeks. he finally asked today. we are going to a restaurant tonight around 5pm. daniel hasn't really talked to me that much. it's kinda annoying. every time i got to the boys house, dani just ignores me. he wont tell anyone whats up.

i decided to leave. i was wearing a cute teal crop top with white jeans. i did a casual makeup look. i made my hair wavy and i put on some white flip flops. i got an uber to a restaurant. i decided to wait inside at a table. the waiter came up to me to ask me my order but i told her that i was waiting for someone to het here before i order.
i waited 25 minuets and there was no sign of jacob. then it became 45 minuets. and finally, once i had been there an hour, i couldn't handle it anymore. i started tearing up and ran out of the restaurant. i was running to a bench to wait for my uber when on my way to the bench, i ran into someone.
"hey i'm sorry bout that" he chuckled as he helped you up.
you recognized that voice and laugh. you looked up to see dani.
"rose, i didn't know it was yo- hey why are you crying?" he asked while his voice turned from sadness to worry.
"i...he...i..." i said while sobbing. i couldn't talk because i was crying too much. i just wanted to go home.
"hey, hey calm down. i'll bring you home. okay?" he asked. i just simply nodded. he helped me into the passenger seat. he then got into the drivers seat and started driving me home.
when we got to my place, dani offered to walk me up to my apartment. i nodded yes.
