Grace's P.O.V
I hung the phone up, a large smile on my face.
"What is it?" Dean asked me, not sure how to take in my facial expression.
"Oh my!" I squealed at him! I grabbed his hands and jumped up and down. "I've been requested to come back for another meeting!" I squealed.
Dean grinned at my happiness as he jumped with me. "That's great, Gee, but where?"
I playfully smacked his forehead. "Roman Empire!"
Dean frowned. "Really?" He asked in bewilderment.
"Yes!" I yelled out. I had a meeting in two hours. Daddy must not know of yesterday, because he never said anything to me.
I couldn't even tell my mother, she left an hour ago.
I kept jumping from one foot to the other. I was so excited! "When?" Dean asked me as I collapsed on the couch.
"In two hours." I panted out. Then my eyes widened. "In two hours! I've got to get ready, have a shower, pick an outfit!"
I jumped off the couch and raced to my room. "Come on Dean!" I grinned as I ran up the stairs.
"I'm coming!" He called out. "I'll meet you up there."
I stripped off as soon as I closed my bathroom door and gave myself a quick scrub before drying myself.
I wrapped a gown around me as I went to the adjoining closet. I flipped through some clothes before pulling down a black skirt and blouse and got dressed.
I opened the closet doors that joined to my room. Dean was there, playing with my stereo as I buttoned up my cuff on my sleeve.
"I'm so excited!" I grinned wide eyed at him as I sat at my dresser. I applied my make up and sprayed my perfume before going through my jewellery box.
"What a surprise!" I giggled. "I seriously thought I blew it yesterday."
Dean groaned. "Did you lose your temper?"
I looked at him through the mirror reflection and held my hand up. "A little." I grimaced as I placed my thumb and forefinger together.
"That temper is going to get you in trouble one day." Dean warned me.
"I always thought it would be my looks." I laughed and teased.
I pulled my hair into a low ponytail and tweaked it into a large messy bun.
"There." I smiled to myself.
"Oh la la, Gee, looking good."
I beamed at him. "Come. Let's take a selfie!" I grinned as I got my phone.
"Don't post it till after you leave that building! You don't know what the outcome will be." Dean warned me.
I looked at him weirdly.
"I'm just saying, you might not have a job, you might, but you might not." Dean saw my face drop.
I sighed. He was right. Dean always pulled me back to earth. He was such a pessimist, but Dean was my anchor.
"I guess I'm ready. I should go." I told myself. "Are you right here?" I asked Dean as I put my phone in to a matching purse.
"Nah, I'm gonna go meet Sofie."
"Aw."
Dean threw me a look. I put my hands up defensively. "I'm teasing." A giggle left my lips as we walked back down stairs.
