When you got home, you were nervous. What did they have to say about Drift? Your parents lead you to the living room and you sat in the chair in the corner of the room.
"What do you have to say?" you asked, your voice slightly on edge. Your parents took a seat on the couch.
"We noticed you and him seemed... close," your dad said.
"We don't think he's a good influence," your mom finished, giving you a sweet, pitiful smile. "You should avoid him."
"You guys don't know him. He's a kind, funny, and a trustworthy guy," you replied.
"We're your parents. We know what's best for you," your dad cut off.
"I'm an adult. I can make my own decisions," you snapped.
"We're your parents. We can tell you what to do," your dad yelled.
"You lost that ability when I turned eighteen! No law binds me to whatever you say," you argued, raising your voice. Your dad stood up and walked over to you, getting close to your face.
"You will do what I say or else," your dad growled.
"If you do anything, I'll go straight to the police," you snapped. "Who will they side with? The angry father, or the girl who was just missing for a month and is so scared of the world?" Your dad narrowed his eyes, before going and sitting next to your mother.
"Sweetie, we know that boy is the reason you were missing for a month," your mom started. "He convinced you to run away with him, and when you both decided to come back you created that ridiculous story to cover your tracks."
"That's not true!" you spat. You were so angry at this point. What did your parents think you were? "I can't believe you guys. You know what, I'm staying at a friend's house tonight."
"Young lady, you will be staying in this house," your dad barked.
"Make me," you yelled, before running to your room and slamming the door behind you. Tears sprung in the corners of your eyes, threatening to fall. You wiped your eyes and checked your phone. It was still in the middle of the school day, meaning you wouldn't get to ask any of your friends to stay the night for awhile. You decided you were going to ask Drift first.
Your phone buzzed, and you saw you had a text message.
Unknown- Hey, heard you went home early. You okay?
You- Who is this?
Your message was read, and then the message bubble appeared that showed they were writing.
Unknown- Sorry, I should've mentioned this sooner. It's Drift.
You- Oh! I totally forgot to get your number. How did you get mine?
Drift had replied, but you were setting his contact name. You then went back and opened the message he sent.
Drift- I asked your friend... I think her name was Nicole?
You- Oh yeah, she's awesome.
Drift- I know.
You- Hey, I'm the only girl you should think is awesome :(
Drift- You said it, not me.
Drift- But don't worry. You're the only girl for me ;) <3
You blushed, smiling down at your phone.
You- Aww, thanks. Anyway, I need to stay at someone's house tonight. Can I stay at yours?
Drift- Sure. I'll take you to school if ya need it.
You- Great! I'll be there this evening.

A few hours later...
You asked for his address, and started packing things you would need for the night, such as pajamas, a brush, and your favorite blanket. You also packed an outfit for tomorrow, and started heading to Drift's house without a word to your parents.
The walk was actually short since it turned out Drift only lived a couple of blocks away from your house. You approached his house and knocked on the door.
"Hello?" said a woman's voice as she opened the door. She had pink, short hair and looked young, though you knew she was older than she looks. "You must be Drift's friend!"
"Yeah, his friend," you replied, wincing at the word. Of course, she couldn't know that you were his girlfriend yet.
"Come in, I've got some Doritos," she said. You walked in, excited. She lead you to a table, where Drift was sitting, messing around on his phone. You took a seat by him, seeing if he would notice. His mom watched, giving Drift a bored glare. You groaned and snatched his phone away, seeing what he was doing.
"Hey!" Drift shouted. He lunged for his phone, but you kept it away. You looked on the screen to see pubg mobile.
"Come on, Fortnite is way better!" you said, pointing at his phone.
"I just wanted to try another game," Drift whined.
"I'll leave you two children alone," his mom said, before walking out of the room.
"So, what do you want to do?" you asked. Drift's eyes sparkled.
"Oh, I have some movies we could watch," Drift replied. "Come upstairs with me." He lead you to his room. His room here was really nice. He had a flatscreen tv on his wall and a full size bed with a galaxy bed set. His bookshelf barely had any books, and the few books he had were on japanese history and mythology or art. He had a lot of spray paint cans in place of books on the shelf and other art supplies. His walls were splattered with paint or had rock band posters.
"Nice room," you commented. Drift's face was red from what you could see since his dust mask covered his face. He wore it even at home...
"Thanks, but I didn't really come up here for a movie, yet," Drift explained.
"Well, then what are we going to do?" you asked, confused.
"Something I've been missing all day," Drift replied. He pulled down his mask and closed the distance between you both, roughly kissing you. You closed your eyes and kissing him back just as roughly. You understood how he felt and to be honest, you missed kissing him. But now you would make up for it.

"Mistress, we are here," said Visitor.
"Ah, so this is the world that brat and her boyfriend came from," Oblivion said. "How primitive." She looked around and noticed that she was receiving a lot of stares. "What are these fleshy things?"
"From my research, apparenly they're... 'humans'," Visitor replied.
"Hey, what're you cosplaying as?" asked a guy, walking up to Oblivion and Visitor.
"What is this... 'cosplaying'?" Oblivion asked.
"You're a really good actor," the guy said. "Can I get a picture with you?" Without asking, he stood next to Oblivion and took a selfie on his phone with her.
"Get away from me, fool!" Oblivion shouted.
"Thank you!" the guy exclaimed as he walked away, staring at his phone in awe.
"That aside, our plan begins," Oblivion said, clenching her fist.
