I felt someone touching my shoulder.

Y/N; You will talk to who?
Me; Oh hey babe! I wanted to talk to you!

I lied. Damn I don't like lying to her!

We laughed.

She said,  she kissed my cheek and she went back to her friends.

The time to go back to class came. I went back to my class. Y/N was there too. Her seat was next to me. We didn't pay any attention at all. We were texting to each other and we were laughing without making any noise. Thank God no one noticed us! After the class, it was lunch time. I saw her talking to Gracie. She was standing next to the vending machine. I went behind her and I covered her eyes.

Me; Guess who?
Y/N; Matt!

She said with a smile on her face.

Me; Ding Ding Ding! We've a winner!

She started laughing.

Y/N; What did I win?
Me; A kiss and an invitation to my house after school!
Y/N; Don't you have Spanish lessons?
Me; Oops! I might forgot to tell my teacher to come at my house for the lesson.
Y/N; Hahaha! I love you!
Me; I love you too! So, will you come to my house after school?
Y/N; Sure!
Me; Perfect!

I said and I kissed her.

Me; C'mon! Let's get something to eat.
Y/N; I thought you would never say it!
Me; You must be really hungry tho!

She hugged me.

She grabbed my hand and she led me outside the cafeteria.

I started feeling nervous. She led me to the staircase and we sat there until the bell rings again.

We went back to our class. We didn't pay any attention to the last three classes. We continued texting to each other without anyone noticing us. We were making fun of our science teacher. Yeah, that bold guy with that huge nose and massive ears. We were laughing without making any noise. Three hours later, the school had finished. I was walking with Y/N and Justin when I saw a familiar face. I face that I really need to get rid of her from my life.

Me; I'll be back guys. Justin, take care of Y/N.
Justin; Got it bro!
Y/N; Matt, where are you...
Me; I'll be back I promise!

I walked closer to that girl worth the familiar face. Relax Matt! Take a deep breath and talk to her! Do it for your father.

Me; Hey!
?? ; Oh hey Mattyy! How are you?
Me; Don't look at me with that innocent look! You know why am I here.
?? ; Honestly, I don't understand!
Me; Kate, for the last time, what we had MUST stay between us. Don't involve our families in that. Tell your father to stop saying these rumors about my father and his company.
Kate; Sorry Matthew, but I can't do this! I heard you have a girlfriend.
Me; Stay away from her!
Kate; Why? Do you actually care about her?
Me; Yes and a lot!
Kate; LIAR! If you really care about her, stay away from her. Break up with her. Okay?

My whole world just died. She found my weak spot.

Me; Don't tell me what to do!
Kate; It's just a warning!  Do you remember what happened to Christopher?

Me; I won't allow you to hurt her like my best friend!

I said and I left. Damn... What do I do now? That was a threat. A huge threat. I made the things worse! I went back to Y/N and Justin.

Y/N; Matt, are you okay?
Me; Yes.
Justin; Bro, you don't seem to be okay.
Me; I'M FINE I SAID!

I yelled in frustration. I felt two arms on my shoulders.

Y/N; Matt, calm down! Please!
Me; I'm sorry!

I said touching her one hand. Damn, she knows how to calm me down. If only she knew she's in danger...

Y/N; Do you wanna cancel our plans?
Me; No!
Y/N; Are you sure? You seem stressed.
Me; Yes. I'll calm down.

He left us. Honestly, I don't know what's wrong with me. Like why am I even worried? I can protect her! I must protect her! She's my girlfriend! We went to my house. We sat on my couch and I turned on the TV still thinking about what Kate said. My thoughts were interrupted by Y/N.

Y/N; What's on your mind?
Me; Nothing.

I said. I don't wanna share my thoughts with her. Not because I don't trust her, because I love her and I don't wanna make her sad.

Y/N; C'mon tell me!

She said and she rubbed my arm.

Me; It's about my father's company and those rumors. I might won't be able to work there but my siblings will and I don't want them to get a bad reputation.

I avoided to tell her the whole truth, about Kate. I for sure didn't want to see her in a worse situation. She had enough those days.

Y/N; Your father is a smart man. He will find a solution to this problem. Don't worry! I wanna see you smile! Where's the happy Matt?
Me; I'm here!

I said with a smile. She smiled at me and she hugged me. I kissed her forehead

Y/N; Hey! Weren't we supposed to study together?
Me; Yeah. But do you actually wanna study right now?
Y/N; Maybe later.

She said and she giggled. She rested her head on my shoulder and I rested mine on her head.
