Your POV

I woke up the next day and I saw Matt next to me sleeping. Dang, I forgot he stayed here for the night. My TV was still on. We both fell asleep during the movie. I got up from the bed without making any noise. I went to my bathroom and I washed my face. I heard footsteps as I wiped the water off my face with a towel.

Matt; Y/N?
You; Morning baby!
Matt; Good morning love!

He said with his morning deep voice. Dang, I missed that voice!

Matt; Um, Y/N?
You; Yeah?
Matt; I need to... You know.

He said and a small laugh escaped from his mouth.

You; Oh yeah right. Sorry!

He laughed and he gave me a peck.

Matt; I love you!
You; I love you too!

I moved away so he could go to the bathroom. I sat on my bed and I grabbed my phone. It was 5:30 am. For real, I haven't woken up that early! I was checking my dms on Instagram when I saw a message from Lucas.

Lucas; Hey Y/N!  I'm so sorry for what happened to your ex, um Matt right? Anyways, can we talk at school? I feel like we really have to.

What do I answer? I saw Matt getting out of the bathroom. He sat next to me pulling me to his hug.

Matt; What's wrong?
You; Lucas texted me.
Matt; What does this jerk want?
You; He wants to talk to me.
Matt; Do you wanna listen to whatever he has to say?
You; Nope.
Matt; Then I have a plan.
You; For real?
Matt; Yeah. So, we'll go to school together.
You; But you've...
Matt; Changed school, well, I don't care tho. So, listen to me carefully...

He told me his plan and then we got up. We went downstairs and we made breakfast. My mum was still asleep because she had been working all night and my father too. I gave Matt one of his hoodies he had gave me and he changed in the bathroom. I changed in my room. I grabbed my backpack and I took my keys from the counter. Matt was sitting on the couch being on his phone. He looked at me with a smile on his face.

Matt; My babe is gorgeous!

He said and I blushed!

You; Thanks!
Matt; That's the truth babe! You look perfect today! Are you ready to go?
You; Yeah.
Matt; Let's go.

I left a note on the counter for my parents to inform them I was at school. I unlocked the door and we went outside. Matt placed his arm on my shoulder and we started walking.

Matt; Yo have no idea how much I missed that!
You; Me too!
Matt; Me, walking to school with you! Looks like a dream!
You; Awe! Cutie!
Matt; No no no! I'm hottie!
You; I prefer cutie!
Matt; I prefer hottie!
You; You're not hot Matt!

He did that sad face thing, pretending he was crying.

You; You're super hot!

I said laughing. He looked at me with a huge creepy smile on his face.

You; That smile is creepy.
Matt; Thanks! I love you!

We arrived at school. Matt covered his face with his glasses, a cap and his full face mask. I saw Lucas talking to Gracie and James.

You; Matt, stay here.

I whispered to him and he nodded. I went to Lucas.

Lucas; Oh hey Y/N!
You; Hey. You wanted to talk to me. What is it?
Lucas; Can we talk after school?
You; Alright.
Lucas; Meet me in front of the gate.
You; Okay.

I returned to Matt making sure Lucas didn't notice I left.

Matt; Hey, what did he say?
You; I have to meet him at the entrance after school.
Matt; Oh snap!
You; Don't worry! You can hide behind a tree.
Matt; That's what I'll do.

The bell rang.

You; Have to go.
Matt; I'll be outside the school. Text me if you need anything okay?
You; Yes! I love you Matt!
Matt; I love you too!

I went to my class. Time for a trip to boredom! Yay!

Matt's POV

I sat on a bench outside the school. My parents knew I wasn't at my new school. Now I'm with Y/N and she needs me. So I'll change school again. I was chilling on that bench when I got a text from Y/N.

Y/N💘; I'm bored in class! Can we talk?
Me; Sure! But don't get caught! 😂
Y/N💘; Oh please! I'm the queen of secret texting! 😂😎
Me; True! 😂❤
Y/N; Someone farted! 😵
Me; Oh snap!
Y/N; Where are you with your perfume?
Me; Outside the school!
Y/N; Mrs Jones is wearing that ugly shirt.
Me; Again? 😂
Y/N; Yeah! 😂😂😂

We continued texting to each other until I heard the bell.

~time skip to the end of the school~

I got up from the bench when I saw Y/N leaving the building. She came closer to me.

Y/N; It's time.
Me; I'll be behind that tree. Good luck!
Y/N; Thanks baby!

She went to Lucas and I hid myself behind a tree.

You; So, what did you want to tell me?
Lucas; Look, I'm so so so sorry about what happened at the park when I saw your ex! I didn't know he was that guitarist!

Lucas; Wait! I need to tell you something else.

I said revealing myself.

I threw my cap, my mask and my glasses to the ground.

Me; Matthew David Morris. Y/N's boyfriend.
Lucas; Wait, that's Matt, right?
Me; Ding ding ding!  We have our winner!
Lucas; But I thought you...
Me; Died? Disappeared? Haha no!
Lucas; But...
Me; Hey lil guy! Stay away from my girl! She's mine!
Lucas; LET HER DECIDE! It's her own choice.
Me; Oh please! You know who's gonna win!

I was about to hit him when Y/N held my hands pulling me closer to her.

Y/N; Sorry Lucas but I'll choose Matt!
Lucas; But I thought you loved me!
Y/N; I was never in love with you Lucas! Matt was always in my mind.
Me; She decided. Now, stay away from her!
Lucas; DON'T TALK TO ME LIKE THAT!

He said and he punched me.

Me; Oh you didn't do it!

I punched him back and he fell down. Y/N held my arms again.

Y/N; Matt please!
Me; Sorry babe!

I took her hand and we left.

Y/N; Matt, your lip is bleeding.
Me; Oh snap!  Uh, do you have a tissue or something?
Y/N; Yeah, put that tissue on it and wait until we go home.
Me; Come to my place!
Y/N; Are you sure?
Me; Yeah. We will play video games and stuff and we will watch a movie too!
Y/N; Alright! I'm in!
