The water met your skin and you shivered at the sudden contact. It was colder than expected, but soon enough you had gotten used to the water. You swam over to the other three and you guys began messing around. Ethan looked at you with an apologetic look and mouthed, "I'm sorry."
You smiled at him to make sure he knew you were fine.
"The fish keep biting my feet!" Grayson yelled and swam around quickly. If you looked close enough you could see the few little fish that had been following him. "They're giving you kisses, Gray! Calm down." Parker swam over to Grayson and let the fish swim between her legs and around her torso. She giggled at the sudden contact the fish had brought to her when they kept poking at her.
You and Ethan laughed at the two of them and swam over.
"Are you sure?" Ethan mouthed to you. "Positive."
The day would turn to night soon enough, and you'd be forced to go home and go back to school. It's been a while since you've seen Amanda, and you weren't particularly excited about it. The thought of being tortured once again wasn't the best though, especially after your accident. And who knows what would happen with Ethan. Would he go back to his old self or would he continue this nice treatment I've been given the past few weeks?
To be honest, these past few days have been the best days I've ever experienced. You've grown to become more comfortable around people, specifically Ethan, and you never thought that would happen, especially this quick in time. You would've expected it to take much longer to feel completely okay, but it took you so little in time it was scary. 

"You think we could jump off of that?" Parker pointed at the edge of a cliff that led to right over the lake we were in. "And die? Yeah probably." I said, rolling my eyes at her sudden burst of confidence. She swam over to the edge of the lake and got out, wandering up the hill that led to the cliff. Ethan, Grayson, and I stayed at the bottom and watched Parker who was now standing at the edge of the cliff, looking over and waiting for the perfect time to jump. 

She sat there for a few more seconds before backing up and continuing to run and jump into the water, splashing the three of us and soon coming back up for air. "That was AMAZING!" Parker yells, running back up to the top again. "You guys gotta try this." She yelled from the top, and Grayson and Ethan swam over and climbed up beside her. Grayson jumped off first, followed by Ethan, and then Parker. "Are you gonna try, Anabelle?" 

I nodded my head quickly so I couldn't change my mind and swam over to where Parker and the boys had climbed up to get to the top. "Are you guys coming?" 

They followed behind me shortly after and the four of us all stood at the top, looking over the edge for a split second, and then jumping together. 

"School's gonna be shit tomorrow." Parker exclaimed, swimming to the edge of the water and standing on the small area of sand that was there. I followed behind her and threw my shirt on. "I agree. I'm not ready." 

Grayson rubbed his hair with his shirt and put his pants back on, Ethan doing the same but leaving his hair. "I'm gonna be stuck seeing Amanda again." Ethan said, looking over at me and then back at Grayson. "Why don't you just break up with her?" 

"I have. She's the hardest person to get out of your life." Ethan says, walking into the trees while we follow behind him. "You clearly haven't tried hard enough." Parker says, fixing her sandal that had been falling off of her foot. Ethan shook his head and continued walking until we made our way back to the car. "Trust me, I have." 

Parker nodded and went onto her phone, most likely scrolling through her twitter feed. "It's 8pm, by golly." Grayson says, turning his phone on and then off as he continued looking down the road. "Santa Claus?" 

"Santa isn't real." Ethan says, causing Parker to pout. "Okay CLEARLY you've never left him cookies."

OKAY I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter, the next one will have more juiciness to it so sorry that this one was KINDA lame lol
