Do you ever feel like you're stuck? Like physically, mentally, and emotionally stuck? Like you can't get out of that position no matter how hard you try? That's where I'm at right now.

I don't know where to go from here because I haven't felt actually happy in years. And now all of a sudden my life changed. I don't know what to do, who to talk to, I just don't know.

I'm partially thanking Parker for this. Without her I probably would've never gone to a party, I never would've talked to Ethan, he never would've confessed his feelings for me.

A part of me is glad he confessed. It changes a lot for me, even if it doesn't seem like it. But the other part of me still wishes he'd go fall off a cliff. Sorry if that seems morbid. If you got tortured like I did you'd get it.

I continued to walk down the paved street that still hadn't gotten a sidewalk built in. I slipped my hood up and put my headphones in, ignoring the sounds of cars driving by. I rumbled down the path that led to the wide open spot in the middle of a few trees, with one single bench screwed into the ground. I took a seat and took a look around, admiring the trees and the small patch of flowers that had been growing right next to the bench.

The squirrels ran around so aimlessly, not a care in the world. If only my case was the same. I wish I could just run around freely, not worrying about anything.

But the sad thing is, squirrels don't know what's coming to them. One minute they're out collecting nuts and the next, bam, they're dead.

The ruffled sound of the leaves didn't bother me, assuming it was probably another animal. I glanced over and saw the feet of a person that I couldn't exactly make out. "Hey, who's there?"

I'd probably be the first to die in a horror movie but it's better to face your problems than run away from them sometimes.

"Look who's here. Little Anabelle. Oh sweetie. Let's have a chat." Amanda came out, her hair put up in a bun while she was sporting a very tacky, yet trendy, jumpsuit.

"I'd rather not." I say, backing up from her. I wasn't about to get into this today. Today was my day to be alone and she has to come out here and literally stalk me in order to ruin it.

She ignored my statement and pulled onto my arm so I couldn't back up from her anymore. "You- you stay away from Ethan or I swear to god I will find a way to make your life worse than it already has."

She continued to stand up and walk away before I could answer her. What do I do? I guess there's obviously only one clear answer, and that's to stay away from him. But how could I when we live next door, I'm friends with his brother, and he's constantly talking to me now?

I guess I'll just have to learn to deal with it, or get tortured more than before.  And trust me I wasn't exactly up for the getting tortured plan.

But I loved talking to this new and improved Ethan. It wasn't exactly something I'd want to give up.

I made my way back home and walked straight through the gate that led to my backyard. The hammock that hadn't been used in months still hung in between the only two trees that we had. I pushed it for a second before getting in to make sure it was still sturdy.

"Anabelle! We're coming over!" Grayson yelled from his side of the fence and then proceeded to walk over to my side, greeting me at the hammock.

"Ethan you need to get Amanda to stop stalking me." I say out of the blue, not exactly realizing it had come out of my mouth so bluntly until it did. "What do you mean? Did she do something?" Ethan proceeded to grab one of our lawn chairs and take a seat next to me as I continued to tell him what had happened.

"I'm going to bash her brains in. I don't even like her. I never even have liked her if I'm being honest. But people love a good power couple for some reason and I guess we were the power couple in this situation."

"Not very powerful if you ask me." Grayson popped into the conversation, putting his intel into it.

"Yeah, well, now she's gonna try and kill me or something unless I stick to not talking to you." I looked at Ethan and then back at Grayson, both who were trying to think of ways to keep the situation less deadly.

"I'll talk to her, Anabelle. See what's going on, you know? I'll get her to stop, I promise."

Ethan proceeded to get up and walk away, back over to his side of the fence. Grayson and I sat there dumbfounded, not exactly knowing what to do next.
