why are boys always
associated with the colour blue
and girls with the colour pink?
have those parents ever seen
their daughter binding her chest
their son trying out a dress?
girls holding hands are sweet
do we, or do we not think
the same way when boys do?
is a friend of a lover
not a threat or rival?
is work of the devil
what they don't reveal?
until the world make a say,
the closet is where they stay
while all is against their may,
heart will beat, mind will pray
