both start with same letter
one heals you better
one is a silent killer

the truth laid out
before my bare eyes
then words came
flooding into my mind
begging to be written

you intoxicate me
in all the dangerous ways
I need to stay away from you
my emotions now a threat
my heart made for you to break

I start listing truths
when these lies I always
comforted myself with
aren't playing their role
anymore

I don't mean to hurt you
I seek for joy
outside your presence
I seek for her
knowing I will never
work things out with you

I realize now
how all this while
my cup of sanity
kept refilled with wine
flowing over the brim
how I downed your daily lies
just to keep myself sane

I saw you earlier
when I was with her
arms around each other
silly me, I missed to see
kaleidoscope in your eyes
from the building tears

my heart plummeted
onto the ground
then crushed under
your black all-star
then tossed into
a bottomless pit
of your ignorance

I have ran out of wine too

I will knock this glass over
knowing 'us' has been over
shots of wine we had together
now will I replace with water

just go ahead and don't love me,

water and wine
we can't stay intertwined
cause such love that is divine
is never meant for us to find

I think I need to do some explanation here.. the left side is by the girl while the right is by the boy.. and they love each other in a dangerous way cause they make each other drunk with love (they are wine to each other).. and they know that kind of love isn't healthy. so they need to let each other go, as they know they need somebody else in their life who they truly need (represented as water) .
