Transitions
- are words and phrases that show relationships between ideas and between grammatical structures

- clarify the relationships among ideas in a paragraph

- use Wh- words and other subordinating conjunction between independent and dependent clauses

- use coordinating conjunctions and interrupters between independent clauses and between sentences.

- use personal pronouns and determiners carefully and correctly (be sure that all personal pronouns have clear antecedents
