Sentence Patterns

S - V - DO
subject - verb - direct object
It has transitive verb and a direct object.

Examples :

      The APEC (S) support (V) developing countries (DO)

S - V - IO - DO
subject - verb - indirect object - direct object
It has a transitive verb and two objects.
The direct object receives the action.
The indirect object, which precedes the direct object receives or benefits from the direct object

Examples :

      The APEC (S) gives (V) developing countries (IO) support (DO).
