"Hey Cristi!" I waved as I walked into the gym on Thursday. I was picking up Liam so we could go to our first doctors appointment.
"Liam's finishing up his session. He should be finished in a few minutes." Cristi checked her scheduling papers.
"Thanks." I smiled sweetly. "It's nice to be back. I haven't visited in quite awhile." I looked around at all of the familiar sights, sounds, and smells of the gym.
"Thursdays are a great time for visits. Harry's only here for a half day." Cristi smirked.
"Is he here now?" I was curious, and fairly sure Liam would want to boast about our baby.
"Yeah, he's leaving in about a half hour." She shrugged.
"Okay." I leaned in closer. "Don't tell anyone, but I'm about two months pregnant. I found out last week." I told her excitedly. "I think Liam's going to break the news to him later today."
"Oh my gosh! You're going to have a baby! Congratulations!" She cooed.
"Today's our first doctors appointment. We'll get an ultrasound picture and get to hear the heartbeat and everything!"
"That's so exciting!" Cristi beamed.
"Thanks for taking over for me, Harry." Liam nodded towards him. "Bria, are you ready to leave, darling?"
"Where could you possibly be going that's so special that you have to go together?" Harry grunted on his way out to the gym floor.
"We're headed to the doctor, Bria's pregnant." Liam paused, waiting to get Harry's reaction.
"Bria, you're actually pregnant?" Harry's facial expression remained neutral.
"Yes, about two months along." I smiled brightly and put a hand on my nonexistent baby bump.
"You're not angry about it, are you?" Liam pressed
"Not at all." Harry shrugged.
"Well, good luck with your next session." Liam offered.
"That's gonna be one ugly kid if Payne's the father." Harry walked away and mumbled under his breath. As he walked further into the gym's main floor, his fists clenched. He made his way to where he would meet his next client, and on the way, assaulted a punching bag.
Liam could barely contain his laughter as he took my hand and led us out the the car.

I laid on the little bed, while the nurse ran a tube over my stomach. Pretty soon, we would have the first picture of our baby.
"I'm so excited!" I babbled. "In just a few months the baby will be here! Of course there's still so much to do, and I have quite a few more months of morning sickness and discomfort, but I hardly mind. It'll be completely worth it in the end. I just can't wait!"
"Do we have to wait awhile longer before we can tell if it's a boy or girl?" Liam asked.
"We can tell you the sex at a later appointment. It's still too early." The nurse answered, beginning to read the machines and screen.
"I'd be fine either way. As long as they're healthy." I shrugged. "I would like to know ahead of time though. I've always been one to plan everything as best as I can. I'd like to have the nursery all sorted out and ready much before the baby arrives." I continued. The nurse was seemingly annoyed by my unending chatter. It was a nervous habit.
"Uh huh..." The nurse looked at the screen with concern.
"Is everything alright?" Liam sensed it immediately.
"Umm..." She moved the tube around to the other side of my stomach.
I lifted my head up and fear was evident on Liam's face. Something was wrong with the baby.
"There's not twins or something, right?" Liam coughed nervously.
"No, not twins." Her face fell. "No baby at all actually. There's no heartbeat."
