Dec glanced at his watch for what seemed like the hundredth time and scanned the crowd impatiently. Where is Ant? He was supposed to be here ages ago!
At last, Dec saw his boyfriend's signature cap amongst the sea of heads. Finally!
"What took you so long? I was waiting for ages for you, man! And I'm supposed to be the late one." Dec chuckled as he nudged Ant in the side.
Ant grimaced at Dec, and said apologetically, "My mam and dad were arguing with each other. I kind of had to calm them both down before it got physical."
Dec was quite for a moment. "Why were they arguing?"
Ant sighed. "I don't know. They argue over stupid little things. All they do is make each other even more angry. It usually ends up in my dad going off to the pub for a whole night. And then my mam just ignores me."
"Wow, your family's rubbish," said Dec. "You should totally get a new one."
Ant smiled at Dec's blunt statement. "I know. But unfortunately, that's impossible."
"Not really... you could always start one with me." Dec said, waggling his eyebrows, causing Ant to burst out laughing.
Smiling widely, Ant put an arm around his boyfriend's shoulder and pulled him closer, placing a kiss on his brown hair.
"There's nothing I'd want more decky."
