Ant stared up at the ceiling. Numerous thoughts ran through Ant's mind, not letting him fall asleep. Next to him, Dec shuffled closer and wrapped his arms around him.

"Ant, I can practically hear you thinking," Dec mumbled groggily. "What's going on in here?" He said, tapping Ant on his head.

"Well..."

"Hmmm...?"

"Do you think the reason Ali has trouble sleeping is because she's so tall and the blanket doesnt cover her... oof"

He was cut off by the pillow that Dec threw at his face, effectively shutting him up. Sitting up, he rubbed at his nose while giving Dec a hurt look.

"Stop thinking and go to sleep. Come here." Ant just gave him a frown.

"You look cute when you frown, you know. Come here. Look, warmth," he repeated, holding his arms wide open for a hug. "Come."

"You know I won't be quiet until you hug me," Dec smiled.

Too tired to resist, Ant gave in and entered the warm embrace, breathing in Dec's scent and smiling contentedly to himself.

"ANT!!" Dec screamed. "We need a new can opener. This one isn't working!"

Ant popped his head into the room. "Does that mean that it's a can't opener?" He asked curiously.

Dec looked unbelievably at Ant, who stood there, waiting for the answer.

"..... I can't belive I fell in love with you of all people." Dec left the room, leaving a perplexed Ant, staring with furrowed brows at the can't opener.

It was the time of year when me and Dec took our trip to the Australian jungle, ready to torture a whole new bunch of celebrities.

My arms full of takeaway, I kicked the door open with my feet. I was greeted with the sight of Dec's feet propped up an a chair.

"Decs?" I set the food down on the table and  walked round it. I saw him lying on the floor with one arm holding an oxygen mask to his face and with the other sprawled above his head.

Dropping to my knees, I frantically asked Dec if he was okay. He was unresponsive and I shook him some more until I heard him mumble and saw his eyes flicker.

"Dec? What happened?"

"Ant, I got bit by a spider. They said I needed oxygen." He was obviously dizzy, the slur in his voice making me aware of that. Suddenly he started crying.

"Are you okay? Does it hurt? Should I call someone?!" I panicked.

"Ant I'm fine. It's just... I can't handle the reponsiblity of being spider-man at this age!"  He said, covering his eyes.

I sat back and watched as Dec really started to sob. I rolled my eyes and patted him reassuringly. This was gonna be a long night.
