CHAPTER ONE

~*~Five Years Ago~*~

"Please! No way am I-"

"Just do it," my brother sighed.

I frowned, "What'll mom think?"

He shook his head, "I don't know."

"You know I'm trusting you on this, right?"

He nodded.

I bent down over the blade and the hilt. I picked up the blade first, and mumbled to Daniel, "Hold up the hilt."

He did as I told him.

I brushed a loose strand of hair out of my face and pressed the blade to the hilt.

Instantly, the blade lit up in a bright yellow, with the tip shining white. The hilt was sea blue and now it looked like water.

"Whoa," I said.

Daniel's mouth gaped at the sight.

~*~Present Day~*~

'Ha ha, very funny,' I thought.

'Yeah? Try and beat it!' he thought back.

'No!' I sheilded my thoughts.

"Why'd you do that?" he asked.

"Because," I said, "You annoy the crap outta me."

He shrugged, "Whatever. Bye, peep!" he called over his shoulder.

"Don't call me peep!"

"I'm older!" He called.

"I'm more powerful!"

He didn't respond.

Rahual looked up at me as I walked through the door. He had a little water ball in his hand.

"Um, what are you going to do with that?" I asked, even though I knew. Reading minds isn't fun, but it comes in handy. Oh, and if you really want to know why I can read minds, here it is:

I'm the goddess of life. Therefore, I can read minds. Same with my brother.

"Nothing," he said, as it evaporated.

Bella rolled her eyes, "Yeah, right."

'Meet at Athena/mom cabin!' Daniel thought to me. I realized I'd let my sheild down.

"Ugh!" I said.

"Hmm?" Bella asked.

"Oh, c'mon!" Rahual complained.

Did I not mention we can communicate with anyone?

We both left the Poseidon cabin and went for my mom's cabin.

Did I suprise you? Yeah, I probably did. My mom is Athena. You know how they hate eachother? I do. I don't know why, but I'm here!

So, yay!

No one except the younger ones (a.k.a., younger gods and goddesses 18 and under), were there.

"So, what's up?" Rahual asked.

Daniel thought it to me and I gasped. This is bad. This is really bad.
