■Kara■
Trystan won't tell me where we're going but I have a feeling it's gonna be someplace special. He doesn't know anything about Malibu, so this should be interesting.
We stopped at an ice cream parlor on an empty road and there are a few people. Masie hasn't been home today and I'm getting a bit worried.
Trystan just keeps telling me to brush it off. "What're you thinking about?" Trystan asks me, shoving his ice cream in his mouth.
"Nothing, just tired that's all," I say, playing with my ring on my finger. Trystan takes my hands and I don't look up at him.
"I'm sure she's fine Kara." He says, playing with my ring. I look up at him and nod my head a little bit. She's fine, right?
"You wanna get going?" He asks, standing up from the bench. I stand up with him and take his hand in mine.
"Sure," I say, resting my head on his shoulder as we walk to the bike. We get on and he starts driving down the road to, wherever we're going.
We eventually stop at a view of the ocean from a high cliff. I jump off the motorcycle and run over to the scenery. Trystan wraps his arms around my waist and I place my hands on his.
"You lived here?" He asks shocked. I chuckle and turn around, fixing his collar on his famous leather jacket.
"Yes sir, it was the greatest place I could call home," I say, taking his hands in mine. He tilts my chin up at him and I rest my head on his chest.
"Well, your home is beautiful." He whispers. Playing with my hand as he looks at the scenery. "Should we head back?" He asks me.
"Sure, I want to go swimming in the ocean," I say to him, smiling. We walk to the bike and we head back to the beach house.
I hop off the bike and head inside. I grab my phone from my bed and sit down, calling Masie. "Hello?" I hear from the other line.
I sigh of relief, "Masie, where have you been?" I ask her. Trystan walks in and leans on the doorframe. "I've been at parties with my new boyfriend." She says.
"Are you okay?" I ask her, lying back on the bed. "I'm fine Kara, don't worry about me okay?" She says, hanging up the phone.
I place my phone beside me and Trystan lays down next to me. "Everything okay?" He asks me, placing a hand on my leg.
"She's fine, I guess I was wrong," I say, turning my head to look at him. He gives me a short nod before sitting up.
I sit up with him. "There's a party on the beach tonight, would you like to go?" I ask Trystan. He looks over at me and thinks about it for a moment.
"I'd love to, just as long as you don't get drunk." He says, standing off the bed. I stand up and walk to my closet, opening the doors.
"What's wrong with what you're wearing?" He asks me, placing a kiss on my shoulder.
"Trystan, it's a beach party so I need to dress for the occasion," I say, walking into the bathroom. I lock the door and change into my outfit.
I step out of the bathroom after I finished and Trystan has changed into his swim trunks and a nice black t-shirt.
"Shall we go?" He asks me, reaching his hand for me to take. I grab his hand and we leave the house, heading right next door.
We walk to the beach where everyone is dancing to the music on the sand. I pull Trystan out onto the dance floor and he stands there glaring at me.
I spin around and dance to the music. Trystan joins in on my awkward dancing and we dance to the next few songs before someone calls for everyone's attention.
"Dock jumping!" The guy yells. I grab Trystan's hand and I start sprinting to the dock. I make it to the lighthouse and start climbing up the ladder.
"Kara, what're you doing!?" Trystan calls from the dock. I laugh before shouting, "just wait and see!"
I start climbing again until I reach the top. I take off my clothes until I'm in my swimsuit and I step into the edge of the lighthouse floor.
I jump from the top of the lighthouse, diving into the water below me. I come up to the surface, looking around for Trystan.
Everyone starts walking out of the water and I do as well. I finally get to the shore and look around for Trystan until I spot him in the house.
I run to the house and open the door, basically tackling him as I run in. "Kara, what's wrong?" He asks me
I have my head buried in his chest. "I thought you were gone," I say, not looking up at him. I take in his scent, pine mixed with a campfire.
"Hey, I would never leave you." He says, tilting my chin up to look at him. He places a kiss on my forehead and I feel safe.
