"Babe, what's wrong?" I asked, but he just started laughing. I would always joke about calling him "babe," but today he was different.
"I TOLD YOU TO FUCKING LEAVE!" he shouted again, glaring at me.
"Please, Benjamin, don't hurt me." I couldn't help but remember my past, when my stepfather abused me.
"JUST GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY HOUSE, SOFIA!" he said, taking a threatening step toward me and grabbing my hand.
"What did I do to you?" I asked, pausing for a moment. "I stopped everything for you."
"Nothing, I swear, Ben." I was so shocked. What did I do to make him hurt me like this? "Please calm down," I pleaded, crying even harder.
"Acting like you didn't do anything after you went stripping for my friends." He took a long pause. As I was about to explain myself, he cut me off.
"YOU FUCKING CHEATER! YOU CHEATED ON ME!" he said dangerously, his eyes turning black.
