Chapter 5-Wheres The Love?

Over the next few weeks Chris bought a condo and had completely moved out

One day I was down stairs making dinner the kids were watching tv and my girl Shantel was over chillin

"I still can't believe you let that nigga just up and leave you like you ain't got his kids"She Said

"what you want me to do put a gun to his head and make to stay I can't do that he's a big boy he's where he wanna be"I Said

"Are y'all getting a divorce"She Asked

I walked up the stairs and went in her room and opened her dresser drawer and grab the first pair of pink socks

I walked in my bedroom and on my floor was a picture of me and Chris kissing

I picked it up and looked at it

This was from our first wedding

Before the kids before the money before all the changes

Tears started forming in my eyes

I would do anything just to go back and feel that love again

That love was so pure so real and so strong

He gone he really left me

Next thing I know I'm on the floor crying

I told myself I wasn't gon do this this again

That I wasn't going to be this hurt girl that I was ok with living apart from him

But deep down I still loved him and it felt like he didn't feel the same and that is what killing me

Shantel walked in and saw me sitting on the floor crying

"I didn't even think things got this bad with us to where he wanted to leave I was so caught up in everything but him I couldn't see how miserable I was making him"I said as tears fell from my eyes

She sat down next to me

"It's not all your fault it's takes two separate"She Said
