Galen
"Galen, Galen you okay?" Morgana asked trying to look at the book her brother was reading that brought him to...well acting like a stone slab. Galen ignored her while thinking.
These words looked like random lines! How the hell was he supposed to read that book?! He couldn't understand anything! God, he was so stupid! What did he do to deserve this! Why on earth couldn't he get this in his brain? It was just words. Everyone else could read correctly so why couldn't he? Why was he broken?
"Galen, do you want some help with that?" Morgana asked. He nodded pointing to the word on the page. His heart was pounding quickly.
"Okay, that word is vegetative." Morgana smiled brightly at him. Galen nodded faking a smile.
"Thanks Morgana." He smiled.
"Don't mention it." She smiled.
"You're a broken toy and nothing more." A voice whispered in his mind. And Galen wasn't going to lie and say he didn't believed the voice for one second.
Nico
"Oh god no." Nico said looking up from his food. Standing there was his adopted mother with a bible. His sister looked at her nervously before the women sat down and flipped to a page in the bible.
"Okay I know you don't believe me Nico but, the bible says no two men shall lie in bed together. And love....you can't burn in hell. I won't let you." She sighed. Nico looked down at his feet pitifully. His heart pounded.
"Now I know that you don't really want to be like that. You don't wanna burn in hell forever. I mean you don't wanna be broken all on your own in a place where me and you're sister can't fix you so I need you to listen now and listen good..."The rest of those words sounded like static.
Nico felt his heart pound as his body felt like shattering. Was he really broken? He never thought that this was something he could chose. But, if she thought he was broken maybe he was. Maybe this was something that made himself believe like she kept saying over and over again. He listened absentmindedly as his body began to fill with thoughts. With thoughts she a voice crept in.
"She's right... And you know it....."
God.
She was right. Nico was broken. Or at least to him right now on his mind. After all he did love a male who was biologically correct.
Sayori
"Do it." A voice whispered in her ear as she sat down in the closet alone at lunch time with an open bottle of pills looking her in the face. She shook her head trying to ignore the depression she had dealt with her entire life. She held back a muffled sob as the voice spoke again.
"Do it. You're to broken to be wanted by anyone." The voice seemed to laugh at her. She shook her head as tears fell down her cheeks. Then slowly she emptied the pill bottle onto her hand thinking that maybe the voice was right. She opened her mouth only to hear a loud gasp.
She turned her head to see Mikey looking right at her. The room fell silent before she quickly moved the same time as Mikey did. She moved the pills towards her mouth while Mikey raced over to garb her arm. He grabbed her arm right before the pills fell in her mouth. She broke down sobbing as she looked at the usual happy boy.
She began trying to fight back and kick him. Then she tried to pull her hand closer to her mouth. Mikey fought back causing the pills to fall out of her hand all over the gym showers floor. They watched more than half the pills of Tylenol fall down the shower drain. Then some of the motion sensor shower heads turned on while the scream started quickly.
"Mikey, Mikey Why did you do that?" Sayori sobbed loudly as she began trying to fight him to get to the rest of the pills so she could OD. Mikey gulped holding her hands to keep her from fighting so he could try to talk about this with her.
"Because Sayori we all like you here and life would be miserable without you!" He yelled back. She sniffed as she stopped fighting back looking at him nervously while large tears kept falling down her cheeks.
"Mikey who would miss me. I'm a broken doll. I wouldn't be wanted anywhere. Hell I'm still not wanted anyone in the one club that would have me today. I'm just a borked wrecked that needs to be taken care of Mikey. Just let me do it." Sayori sniffed as her eyes filled with so many more tears.
"Sayori you know that's not true. Monika loves it when you go toe the club and work as long as you can. Yuri loved your company. Natsuki loved talking to you from what's she told me in gym class. And Galen loves it when you help him read in science class. You help him feel less broken. They would all miss you when you're gone. They all need you here. You're nut broken to them and they want you." Mikey explained calmly trying to keep from panicking over what he just saw and what he just stopped.
"They wouldn't really. Others can do the same thing as me." Sayori sniffed.
"No one can Sayori. You're you. No one can be as unique as you." Mikey smiled trying to keep her calm. His heart hurt seeing those tears roll down her cheeks.
"Stop. Please. I hate it when people try to make me fell better. It makes me fell like they're waiting their time on something unimportant like drama." She sniffed.
"You are so much more important than drama to me." Mikey said quickly letting his true feelings slip out a bit for a few seconds. Sayori sniffed rubbing her eyes.
"I am not! I am just supposed to be drama for you." She sniffed.
"Well you're not."
"Then what am I to you then?!"
"You're not drama!"
"Well what am I then?! A puppet? Trash? You probably wouldn't miss me when I'm gone!"
"You are none of those things to me!"
"Then what am I to you?!"
"....Are you really gonna make me say it?" Mikey asked blushing. Something in Sayori's head clicks before she burst down crying and hugged his chest tightly. He held her close and rubbed her back.
"It's okay Sayori. It's okay. You're not broken to me." He smiled holding her close. Sayori sobbed into his chest trying to smile, finally seeing a smile tiny bit of sun between large rain clouds.
Ezra
"Am I broken Hera?" Ezra asked looking down. Hera stopped cooking dinner. Sh froze looking a him.
"No, no why do you ask?" Hera asked sitting by her son's desk. It was lunch when her foster son walked in and asked to eat lunch with her.
"Someone mentioned that the foster system is broken. And that they raise broken kids...then when I told them I was brought up in foster care they just gave me a look of pity and stopped talking....Am I broken?" He asked her. Hera stood there for a minute before sitting down near him and holding him close.
"Ezra Bridger you never have been and never will be broken. No matter how you were raise you will never be seen as broken to me love." She smiled hugging him. Ezra froze, his eyes shining before hugging her back quickly.
Man. Maybe he wasn't broken after all.
So if anyone actually feels like this I just want you to know you are not broken. You are a person who had people who care and love you. Everyone would miss you if you were gone. And if you truly believe you are broken never forget that other will be willing to help you do whatever you need to feel like you're worth something and like a happy person again.
