Forgiveness

"That was the best concert ever." Morgana smiled looking through the photos with star. It was all Morgana went on about for days. Especially since she didn't do much anymore. Her friends just s,iled. Meliodas meanwhile seemed a bit on egde.
"You okay there buddy?" Morgana asks as Lance leaned on his cousin's shoulder.
"Yeah you seem on edge...I'm sure Altin is gonna love playing with you today." Lance smiled leaning back in his seat. Ezra had reached out to them recently asking if they wanted to see Altin again.
"Oh marco is just gonna love him when he comes to visit next week." Star cooed smiling.
"I still have no idea why you would give him a second chance...you know people sometimes don't deserve second chances." Morgana spoke up. Star nodded bashfully.
"I know...it just feels like I should forgive him..I don't know why it just feels like I should....I know I probably shouldn't but forgiveness is a main part of life and I've chosen to forgive him." She smiled.
"Alright but if he steps out of line I'm gonna cut him." Morgana's smirked as the car came to a stop. Every little person stayed as quiet as could be as they climbed out of the car. Morgana was still talking with her friend until she glanced at the enterance to the house.
Standing there in all his glory was her father. Her father was standing there looking more tired then ever and somehow mad. Galen stood behind him. Morgana froze up as her friends quickly rushed to the side of the house, wishing her luck as they decided to go in through the back.
Galen
"Morgana I'm so sorr-"
"I don't wanna hear it." Morgana cut off her father trying to walk away.
"Look I didn't know your aunt kicked you out. Rosa is such a hypocrite....ju..just please come back. We miss you back home. We all do." Her father begged. She just rolled her eyes, which she never had done before to her father.
"Look if you really care you would have reached out sooner." She sighs.
"How could I?! Your aunt said you ran away and you had deleted our contacts on our phones. No one we knew was telling us anything! And the only one who would talk with us was meliodas dad, and he just gave up updates that you were okay!" He snapped.
"Then you knew where I was!" She screamed back. "If he texted you, you knew where I was and did nothing! You didn't even come visit or call the house!"
"I thought you needed space! So I gave you space!" Her father snapped back screaming just as loud. Meanwhile her friends quickly snuck into the house, to watch this go down from one of the windows.
"Bullshit! You knew I needed help! you knew I needed support and you did nothing! You let me think like I was a throw away child!"
"That's not what you are in the slightest! Morgana you are one of the most well behaved children I have raised! And you never rebelled so I figured when you ran off you needed space! You've never done anything else like this before!"
"Well that should have let you know something was wrong! You should have clued in sooner!"
"I know and I'm sorry I didn't. I am so sorry I didn't realize sooner just please for the love of god come home. I can promise you that this will never happen again." Her father begged calming down, taking a deep breath.
"No."
"No?!"
"Yeah, no I'm not going home. If you wanted me home you should have tried to reach out! Opal used to run away all the time when she was a teenager and you had cops looking for her everywhere! And what was looking for me dad?! What was looking for me? You wanna know what was looking for me?! Lance! Just one person!" She snapped yelling louder. Her eyes got in the largest glare that just seemed to mean she wanted to stab her father.
"That's because we had updates! Mel's father promised you were okay and sent photos! He updated me and made sure you were okay every day for me!" Her father yelled back.
"Well then I should just go live with my bio mom because I want nothing to do with you anymore! I want nothing to do with you because you guys clearly want nothing to do with me!" Morgana yelled loudly. Her father's eyes got large and he looked scared at the mention of her mother.
"No. No, Morgana look at me you can't do that. You can't do that, she's not stable or in a stable place. If you're leaving, go stay somewhere safe but, for the love of god don't go stay with her." He begged not wanting to go on about her mother. To be honest he never wanted to mention her mother.
"Why?! Because she cared more about me? Clearly she's bee looking for me before! I found the letters he's been sending you since you adopted me! I would have had a mother to love me more than you did! One who cared a lot more!"
"That's not true! Morgana, she loved you but she's not well! She isn't well at all, look just stay here if you don't come back. For the love of god stay somewhere safe." Her father begged.
"Give me one reason I should!" Morgana yelled loudly. Her father just rubbed his temple before sighing. He had seemed to calm down again and get ready to talk when Galen stood in front of him. He didn't know why until his son made eye contact with his sister.
"I...I don't know what to do with out you. We always did everything together and supported each other. I supported you when you tell me things or do thing, and you...you support me all the time for some reason. And now I don't have anyone to talk to at home. I don't have anyone to support me on the same level that you did...I.,what am I supposed to do without you?" Galen asked looking ready to sob. "I..have no one to talk to like I've known them for years. I have no one to calm down anymore. I have no one to stress with all the time. I have no one to do anything with anymore...I..I love you and I miss you....I looked for days...I looked all over town even when I knew you were safe.....I still couldn't find you but, I looked. Dad helped too...we care and looked. We looked because we love you...so please for the love of god come home...not for him but, for me at the least. Please."
Morgana
Morgana's eyes got big listening to her brother talk. They all made eye contact for a few seconds only the sound of the wind being heard. It was completely silent as ever as their eye contact never broke. The tension was so thin you could cut it with a knife. That is until Morgana rushed forward hugging her brother.
Galen smiled hugging her tightly as ever refusing to let go. He just closed his eyes crouching down a bit so they could hug like normal people and not like a short as ever girl and a tall muscular teen boy. They smiled clinging onto each other before Morgana opened her eyes seeing her father. Her father sighed looking away seemed embarrassed before they made eye contact again. Morgana just smiled holding her arm open for him, and instantly getting her father hugging them both close.
"I love you..I love you so much Morgana. Please never run off again because I..I can't handle it again if you run away...please don't run off again." Her father begged kissing her forehead. She nodded clinging onto her family as tightly as possible, who in return clung onto her a bit tighter.
Ban
Ban smiled watching the family hug out on the front lawn. Meanwhile Star was taking pictures of her friend's reunion with a grin on their faces. All the friends were inside cheering about their reunion and Morgana finally going home.
"How many picture did you get?" Ban asks happily looking at star.
"Enough to send to Morgana later to prove forgiveness doesn't need to make much sense at time."
