"Ban is that wine?!" Star whisper yelled as they began climbing out of the van. Ban froze before nodding tilting his head like a curios dog.
"Wha....why would you bring that?" She asks suddenly.
"Cause it's a tent party and we are in walking distance from Meliodas's house...plus could be fun." He smiled looking excited.
"Aren't you driving us home?" Crystal sighed climbing out from the back with her girlfriend slowly exited behind her. It was awfully cute like always. Or at least to Crystal. After all Morgana was always as cute as ever to her.
"Nah, Uno is." He smirked happily.
"And is he ever gonna stop kissing Jyugo enough to let that happen?" Crystal asked sarcastically.
"Yeah you know they can't keep their hands off each other when they're drunk." Meliodas sighed. Star paled a bit getting nervous.
"So umm....are we good or....like do I have to ask my relatives to pick me up?" Star sighed.
"I think we'll be fine." Ban smiled before racing off around a corner seeing a hit girl. Everyone sighed before heading off to look for their friends. For star, that was Pidge. To be honest though she wished she was back in the van. It was freezing out this night after all. Though she dare not complain at all. She had the least amount of problems right now.
After all Morgana had been disowned about four weeks ago. She still went to school daily and avoided her brother like the plague. He did see her and try to talk to her but, she ignored him. After all he didn't look for her to long after she was kicked out. He only looked for an hour. As for the rest of her family, the only one who found out where she was staying was Lance. Yet, mainly because his aunt also tried to kick him out to when his parents were home. So now Meliodas's dad watched after 4 emotional unstable boy's and a girl who was always ready for a mental break down.
As for Meliodas, he had to deal with the grief. He had gone to his mother's funeral two weeks ago and..well he still wasn't healed. Like at all. He had sobbed and cried for hours after wards. Never mind that anyone else try to keep him calm. All that mattered was that he hadn't left the house for anything other than school..like ever.
Then there was Pidge who had to deal with a guy harassing her at school. A guy who tried to grab her boobs twice this week. She was getting very uncomfortable when the guy even glanced in her direction. It was upsetting to say the least. Meanwhile here was star, just there just stressed over exams, freezing her butt off in the cold.
Either way her problems weren't that bad. Like at all compared to theirs. Especially now. Yet, she knew one thing, she was pretty sure she was gonna drop dead from the cold.
Star sighed looking form side to side. She could see everyone at the party. Everyone except Pidge. She couldn't see her anywhere. As for seeing her, you could probably see her from a mile away. After all she shivered like a person having seizure. It must have looked awful. Though she did ask for it by wearing a short skirt like she did.
"Hey you okay?" A young male asked walking over. Star froze rubbing her hands over her arms to try and warm her up. She nodded but, tried to stay silent. After all opening her mouth around a cute boy has never ended well in the past. Especially since this boy was as cute as ever. Yet, she knew him. He had broken her heart before and she knew he would do it again if she so much as gave him the time of day.
After all that was what Marco Diaz does ti her.
Yet, she couldn't help feeling that way. He had tan skin and a very tiny mole on the left side of his face, under his eye. His brown hair was a little ruffed up. Yet, his earring in his left ear seemed o shine in the sunset. Don't even get her started on how handsome his eyes looked.
"I don't think so. You're shivering like it's the end of days...here, you can have my coat for a while." Marco smiled taking his coat off.
"Oh no. No I'm fine...honestly marco." She tried to say getting more nervous by the second.
"No, I insist. I can't have my old friend freeze to death." He smiled kindly trying to keep her warm. Within seconds his red sweater was around her shoulders. Yet, they were standing so close to each other ant star was pretty sure she could warm herself up with her blushing.
"Thank you so much." Star smiled.
"Don't mention it....look about before...I'm sorry about Jackie..."
"Look it's fine men do that sort of thing...."
"But they don't...i treats dyou awful and I understand why you didn't wanna he friends anymore...but, it would mena a lot to me if you...well if we could give it another go..."
"....."
"It's okay if not..honestly I-
"No no I'm fine with it. Just be warned I've changed..I have new friends and.."
"I know and I'm willing to meet-them."
"In that case Marco Diaz I am willing to give you another shot as whatever you want to be. And for the record I would have accepted it a lot sooner if you just talked with me before hand..."
"Well at least I know now right?"
"Yup." Star smiled while blushing. Finally a chance to fully start over.
"Hey I should ask, have you seen a young girl that's about five inches taller than me? She's got huge nerd glasses, short unisex hair cut, probably wearing a black t-shirt?"
"Oh, you mean Pidge right?"
"Yeah I do!"
"Oh yeah they're just around the corner talking to Tom. Tell ya what I'll take ya over to them."
"Okay, oaky if you insist." Star smiled before getting lead around the corner by the male.He grinned Following her.
"It's a pleasure to be friends with you again Marco."
"Oh trust me pleasure is all mine." Marco smiled happily making Star blush. Oh boy did this night just get a whole lot better for her.
